The ump was awful for both teams. When do we get the roboumps? The technology is there and proven.

Our training, throwing program is shite.

Looking like Carter could have problems. He had arm soreness again tonight after pitching just one inning

Maybe tomorrow, as starter?
That would be a bold move by DVH. I'm definitely not opposed to it but that just seems a risky move for DVH.
I'm thinking at least by the 6th inning no matter who starts.

What is the deal with the arms of these pitchers?

It’s happening all over college baseball. A lot of it is overuse. Kids are playing year young with no breaks.

It was so incredibly bad, and one of the worst I can ever recall.
A&M issued 14 walks, and many came on questionable ball 4 calls. There were a few 3-2 counts where our hitter thought he'd gotten rung up, only to realize it had been called a ball.
The telecast crew bit their tongue a bit (but still openly questioned a few calls), but Phil and Bubba were audibly frustrated with how bad the the home plate ump was.

That’s not good.
DVH said after the Missouri State game that Carter didn’t pitch because he had some soreness but it didn’t seem too bad. The fact that it’s gotten worse is not good at all.

DVH hinted at it in his postgame presser after the Missouri State game.
Someone asked if there was a chance we see Tygart even start the bullpen game as a means of managing his workload better. DVH sort of gave a half smile and said something to the effect of “you must be reading our minds, must’ve heard something.”

Wonder what his pitch count is going to be.

Tygart starting tonight
I'm cautiously optimistic. I'd think his pitch count would be set fairly low.

I’m not surprised to see Grimes sitting.
Awesome throw to the plate aside, he was a bit of a roller coaster in the field and was 0-3 with 3 K’s at the plate. DVH has seemed pretty high on Neville this season.

Why did Tygart only go one inning? Just saw a boxscore and curious. Not where I can listen or watch.

Said that was the plan, 20 pitches.
