I do wonder if he could fit into the linuep now that Makhi has emerged

One major failure on muss part this year was thinking he could put TB at the 5 spot regularly. He has always been better used as a miss match on smaller forwards.

TB hasn't been at the 5. He was used at the 4 usually clogging up the spacing on the ball side of the court.

It's worked without him because with Lawson, Graham, or Davenport at the four, they at least rotate towards the basket/opposite side of the court instead of taking up space on the ball side wing or corner.

This allows ISO opportunities for the guards as well.

Having a big who can hit a three is nice, but I hope we never have a big who only looks for the three like with TB and Vanover again.

Are we talking about the same guy? Brazile averaged 3.2 threes per game last year and 2.7 this year.

Yeah, but you could tell he was looking for them... usually from the other team, but nonetheless...

Yeah hell I remember early in the year Muss was stressing that Brazile needed to shoot more and stop passing up decent looks and his 3APG were still down a good bit.

An even crazier one is Devo going from nearly 4 a game to 0.4 this year.

I think a lot of people would agree with you but I think the opposite. Brazile gets eaten alive at the 4 while trying to defend the 3. And he’s not really effective enough off the ball or off the dribble to offer us much at the 4 offensively.

I think Muss needed to tell him to suck it up and learn to fight at the 5 if he wants to fit into our lineup.

That’s why I feel like he could fit better with Makhi. Let Makhi do most of the work but throw TB in for ~10-15 minutes for a change of pace.

I just don't think the dude ever recovered mentally from his injury last year. He looks like a totally different player.

He went from dunking over MFs nearly every game to playing like he's Brian Scalabrine.

"I don’t think there’s any doubt that he’ll play this season as long as there’s no setbacks," Musselman said. "He’s been gradually working his way back into the fold. Hopefully he’ll be able to go through some of practice today. He has gone through some light stuff as of late."

"Jalen Graham will not practice today, possibly will practice Friday," Musselman said. "Both guys I would say, because we did not practice yesterday and we haven’t practiced yet (today), I would say both guys are nearing a return. Whether that’s Saturday or Tuesday or the following Saturday — some time within the next three games — we would expect to have both of them back."

Same. After the Europe trip and watching him pogo and play w a bit of an attitude on both ends, I thought we had a Blake Griffin. We now have comedian Eddie Griffin.

Well the women's team has fallen off a cliff, another L today.

Like the men, no at large bid possible now.

Neighbors surely gets fired with no NCAAT again in year 7.

But he's a good 'ole boy like Titboss. The fans and the media love Mike.

HY will let him hang around a few more years.

I'm convinced they keep him around to play guitar twice a year at events.

I mean people say that Hunter is such a a good AD because of the non revenue sports but I mean what fricking non revenue sports has he impacted? The baseball program isn’t a product of Yurachek and neither is the track program. What has he actually done as an AD that’s positive other than hiring musselman? And I mean yeah that’s good and all but it doesn’t seem like that’s a big enough accomplishment to overlook all of his failures

Yeah he somehow built a reputation off of nothing. I thought he had hired Tom Herman and Kelvin Sampson at Houston, but he didn't hire either of them.

Yep we runnin off our most successful coach in 3 decades for a bad portal class to appease some power players who got their feelings hurt.

Maybe we will move to the sunbelt too.
