I think we may have set our expectations way too high for Brazile based on limited PT as a freshman and a small sample size before his injury last year.
Truth is this is really the first year he’s gotten extensive playing time in college to really know what we’ve got with him.

Brazile had mocks before the year as high as top 10. Not just us.
A lot of people say an ACL takes a full year after you return especially football players. Who knows.

If Muss threw all his eggs in the TB basket that's sad.
Graham is absolute trash, Mitchell is garbage and Lawson doesn't get enough PT.
The fact that we don't have a big man with balls is on Muss.
Muss missed on this class, it's over.

Yep, all that roster turnover year after year he was bound to eventually miss. This is that, a big miss.

It worried me that we didn't make any changes in the frontcourt this offseason, but I didn't expect the completed product to be this bad.
I get he tried, but to be content with just running it back with the same guys as last year after how it went down was always gonna be risky.

I'm not even sure one more solid big would make any difference. We are worse than that.
Battle was the #10 ranked overall transfer and isn't even playing anymore.
I think it's just as big a miss in getting guys that play well together as it is talent. Years past we've started to mesh and gel and just zero of that.
Several guys have regressed too that's squarely on Muss.

For sure. I mean these issues were foreshadowed pretty heavily when Muss mentioned how they weren't working to improve as much as past teams earlier in the year. The product matches the investment.

Yeah it seems the decision to ride or die with Devo killed the season. Probably an overreaction to his tournament performance last year. I wonder how much of the NIL budget he got?
There’s no serviceable 5 so the forwards are playing out of position and getting bullied. Nobody except maybe mark can finish at the rim. If the threes aren’t falling and we aren’t getting bailed out by the refs were basically dead.

This season is making me wonder if we should keep freshmen every so many years and develop them in the program and just use the portal to add to them.
The biggest thing this team is lacking is simply heart. There isn’t a guy out there who actually gives a crap about the “program” they’re playing for. I would say Devo, but his arse is beyond repair at this point.
Years prior we had solid, give a shite, guys who had been in the program. Notae, Williams, Sills, and Kamani.
I dunno if that’s it, but something is missing and it seems like players to hold players accountable.
