Idiots. I am going back & forward with a guy on Twitter that is comparing Muss to Rick Barnes & Mark Richt.
They want regular season Rick over muss madness they definitely lost their fricking minds.
The only comparison with mark richt is obnoxious fan bases thinking they don't have control of their program

Bail out Red Leader, bail out!

Rivals “insider” saying there was a heated exchange Monday before the UT game where Muss had to call off practice FYI.
Also, sounds like NSJ was telling most he wasn’t coming back, then suddenly came back, after not being with the team and tried to be the leader all of a sudden. Makes sense that not going over so well.
Then again we smoked UGA and UF (both bad), so who knows.
Hope we get it figured out and guys but into making a run.

Is it the military guy? If so he is a complete idiot

Team would have probably won Saturday without him. NSJ getting starter minutes is just stupid. He hasn’t earned starter minutes and the rest of the team knows it as well.
He should have been a 6th man to spell Devo, Black, and Council

He is the only guy on the roster who can consistently hit a shot from behind the free throw line.
This is this team's problem. Apparently finding guys who can defend and hit 3s is a difficult task.

They probably could have won if Devo doesn't have a temper tantrum and get ejected from the game.
Arkansas lost some potential points from that event.

Was there any indication what the issue was about?

Latest bracketmatrix projection has us as an 8 playing 9 Memphis in the West. Would be a classic matchup that I think the players could get up for. Fans would love it too.

This makes perfect sense. This team is less than the sum of its parts. Major chemistry issue. J William not coming back hurt us more than we know. He would have been the unquestioned leader.

Yet he's starting in the NBA and is one of the most popular players on OKC's team.
Muss isn't going to ask players to give him one more year over playing overseas let alone in the league.
We may have the most returning players for a muss next year, but even then it probably won't be enough to fill the rotation.

Yeah a couple weeks ago he was leading the league in charges and had the highest 3p% in the rookie class. He was smart to leave.
Toney on the other hand, man we could have used him this year. It may have been on this board but someone made a good point about the G league, guys can leave early and get paid even when they’re not ready for the NBA.
That’s why I think Walsh and Council bounce, they’re not ready for the NBA but they can make more playing in the G league than here. Sucks for college basketball, we’ll have to pony up more NIL money to compete.

100% they would have. All 3 guards were sucking wind by the time we got to the final 5 minutes. NSJ came to the FT line once and I thought he was going to pass out he was sucking wind so hard.
Anybody should have saw at least one ejection coming though. The minute they didn’t throw Oscar out for the elbow then gave him a second technical and didn’t toss him, it was obvious Kentucky was going to get all the calls, and most of the time they did.
Oscar should have been called for a moving screen yet they call Devo for some ticky crap and he lost it. I’d have lost it and half the people around here would have. Heck I watched a ref come by Muss and the ref instigated the encounter and ran his mouth at Muss.
Muss should have taken the fine on that game and called that crap out.

I mean that's what i've always thought of the great leaders in sports and life. Very reactionary and emotional guys who get upset and let it affect the game negatively for their team.

Memphis would kill this team right now.

You would say that about any team we’re matched up against right now. I could have said anybody and you’d make the exact same post. You gotta balance out man, it’s not all doom and gloom.

Reminds me when I went head to head with Georgia fans. Compared muss to fox after we hired him.
