.@RazorbackMBB's Trevon Brazile notched his first career double-double in tonight's 76-58 win over NDSU.

His 21 points and 12 rebounds are also new personal bests.

One game at Arkansas and he’s already better than any game at Mizzou. Awesome.

Really impressed with Anthony Black. His composure handling the ball, as a freshman, is nothing short of amazing.

He's going to do big things. Hope he will continue that pick and roll aggression. Eventually he will start getting calls and getting FT attempts. Wish he would shoot the three ball tho. His form is pretty smooth.

Muss was in a foul mood in his presser.

Pissed at Devo for turning the ball over and not looking for assist.

Pissed at Walsh for fouling out on stupid fouls.

Pissed over poor defensive play

No comment really about Smith other than next man up.

AB and Brazile are banged up.

Asked why Graham didn’t play and only said coaches decision.

He was not happy about most of the game.

So basically will never play a single minute at Arkansas. Good times.

The rumors are all over the place on this. The way Muss responded to being asked about NSJ post-game makes me uneasy, but I might be reading too much into it.

We’re Arkansas so we’re not allowed to have nice things.

Yeah Muss said Council was "overly aggressive offensively". He seemed mad about everything after the game
Dude does not seem pleasant to be around during the season. I bet he spent the night in the poolhouse

Did Muss have black marker face last night? I love Muss. He hates losing.

He ripped Walsh on a new one after one of his last fouls of the game.

The meltdown on twitter today over the Nick Smith stuff is beyond crazy.

Its Arkansas so that's to be expected but they all now believe he is going to forgo his season and turn pro. If that's the case he wouldn't have been on the bench last night.

I don't see Duke fans melting down because Lively and Whitehead, also two lottery picks, aren't playing tonight due to injury.

My question, with all these prospective draft picks, is if Muss is going with a load management system much like the use in the Pros.

quote:

"Loading management is about lowering the threshold of load on a player so that he's able to recover and decrease the risk of injury or chronic fatigue," said Dr. Marcus Elliott, founder and director of the Peak Performance Project.

When a player exceeds his capacity, he's considerably more likely to get injured. Load management is a provision to say of a player suffering from, for example, patella tendinitis, "He's healthy, and he can play ... but if he exerts himself too much, there's a chance he'll then miss significant time."

Load management wouldn’t make much sense with the way he subbed in the 2nd half when the game was basically over.

Doesn’t really fit his philosophy from the past as well.

Wouldn’t make sense, they play 1/2 the games in just 2 less months. No back to backs really. Also Muss isn’t worried about long term… just worried about winning and placing them in the best position for championships and paychecks.

Council and Brazille were absolute steals out of the portal.

Kai looks smooth on offense. Needs to move his feet more on defense I noticed.

I feel like Walsh will have some games where he takes over, and games where he disappears.

Black plays smart for a freshman.

Devo will take a step forward this year. You can see his work ethic paying off.

Khel/Graham/Dunning/Pinion TBD

Smith RIP

(kidding, I assume he will be back)

Muss runs his program like a mini-NBA program.

Save his knee and legs for the dog days of conference play. He's going to log a lot of minutes in January-April.

He didn't have that ability the last 3 years where he had to stick guys out on the court for 35-40 a game every game last year.
