I really really really really dislike lykes. He should only come in with a minute left to shoot free throws

I don't understand the irrational hatred people get for certain players. He has won us several games this year. If he got to the line and bricked FT's at the end of the game I could understand but the dude has been clutch for us.

We won man

I don't like out of control Lykes. I like the Lykes that sees the floor well and can make a great pass. That guy is a great 2nd unit player for us. The one that tries to be Notae or James Harden is hard to watch. But we lose this game without him so...

That game had to have made a good impression on Anthony Black

Yeah, I'm sure he was in awe at the amount of skill and smooth play on display

Lykes has settled into his role as diet Notea. Both of them are playing more under control now.

Yep,Jekyll and Hyde out there. But we saw his importance out there today.

Very good ball handler and can draw fouls and make free throws. He is catching on but his shooting makes me want to puke sometimes.

I remember when Stan Heath was here if the we were pressed we couldn’t get across mid court, so I ain’t complaining about this guy.

Y’all are giving him too much credit. He’s good at one thing knocking down free throws. He’s a good tool to have but doesn’t belong on the court unless we have the lead late. He plays iso hero ball and isn’t skilled enough to make that work. He can’t. Consistently finish at the rim or knock down 3s, and he’s too selfish to distribute the way he should, not to mention he’s a liability on defense. KK should get all of his minutes. He may turn the ball over occasionally but PT will fix that and he will be way more of a team player

He's only here for 4 more games + SECT + NCAAT so try to enjoy what he's good at (FT shooting and bench scoring) and ignore the rest until it costs us but Muss won't allow it to cost us without making changes.

Well, who else do we have who can handle the ball like him?

Just got into the hotel. What an ugly game. Two good defenses going toe to toe. I knew we were screwed the moment Portis walked out on the court during pregame and hugged one of the refs. How Muss didn’t go Bobby Knight tonight I’ll never know.

It’s funny to hear the collective oh frick sigh in the arena when Lykes comes to the scorers table.

If this team can ever get its crap together offensively folks better watch out.

I like Lykes. I like the way when he dribbles the ball comes all the way to his shoulder making it easier to pick. I like the way he looks like a 3rd grader launching high school 3s. I’m always surprised he has the arm strength to get it to the basket.

Honestly, is Lykes passing out handies to the coaching staff or is KK just hot garbage?

Anyone. He gets his pocket picked more for a 5"7" guy than I've ever seen. If its not getting picked, he's either throwing it away or shooting a 3 he has no business shooting. Both that essentially lead to easy buckets on the other end.

I want to keep giving him a chance because he is our only real creator option outside of Williams and Notae. He seemed to be coming along these last couple of games but those back to back TOs yesterday at the half court line with about 3 minutes left really made me lose my shite.

His inability to hit wide open looks consistently and finish at the rim has been tough to watch.

Need Devo to keep gaining confidence and knocking down open looks, that has been huge down the stretch in both the Bama and UT games. Dude just lives for big times games apparently. Defense has been a lot better too.

Lykes minutes have increased because Notae has been in foul trouble so much. With Lykes, you take the good(ability to get a steal or two, make some good passes and free throw shooting, with the bad (bad shots, inability to rebound well, turnovers). His defense has improved so much since early in the year, Muss is playing him more.

Women’s basketball pulls out all the stops to get the crowd there for Ramirez’s senior day. And they are laying an absolute egg against Kentucky (12-11, 5-8).

I was too young to pay attention, but when he was fired, didn’t he say they said I did everything right, “they just wanted a skirt?”
