Nice to see a businesslike approach to a potential trap game. Looked really crisp on offense in the first half. They are making progress on that front, really growing into themselves at the right time.

The real grind starts on Saturday with 5 straight Q1 games.

3-2 would be a great finish

The play that shows why the Hogs were winning so much lately:
First half, Notae gets stripped from behind driving to the basket by Mizzou. Mizzou is pushing it up court, and rather than Notae sagging back and finding a man to cover in transition, he dead sprints halfway down the court, knocks the ball away from behind to Jwill, sprints back down the court and after a high ball screen from Jwill drills a 3. Effort and desire are off the charts right now and it is truly fun to watch. The play is below.

Notae play: starts at 25 seconds

Props to Jwill with the fast reaction to catch the ball after JD poked it out as well

Jwill also had a steal where he ran a guy down and then did a reverse layup. There is no quit in this team and I love watching them play.

Notae is a beast. The dude just scores points and steals balls.

Thankfully we get Tenn, UK, and FaiLSU at home. @Florida should be a tight game and @Tennessee I’ve already just wrote the L down.

I'd rather have Florida at home and UK on the road

What?

Florida sucks. We can and should win that game.

And we have a chance to beat UK. We can beat anyone in the Bud and that would be absolutely MASSIVE for our seeding.

Florida road loss won't even hurt that bad if we can beat UT and LSU at home.

Umede is turning into a killer. We need that down the stretch to make a run.

I'd rather a guaranteed 1 and 1 in that situation vs a potential 0-2

The issue is that with the way it is now we have two Quad 1 chances.

If we change the home and away, Florida becomes a Quad 2 game at home.

Even if we go 0-2, it won't negatively effect us that much as they are both Q1.

I’m glad to see Umude progressing like he is. I felt like with his size and athleticism he could be a big difference maker for this team.

Ladybacks down 14 at Florida at the half.

76-67 UF final. Girls fall to 16-9 6-6.
