Yeah, the thread is a few weeks old.. But, they keep putting things on there Innuendo etc. Like how he acted during a presser (He shouted angerly that the Mute on Zoom was Off, get started) after the OK state loss.

I get that he is hot headed to a point, it is most definitely his personality to be analytical, methodical, and to hate losing. It drive him to be a great coach, etc. Comes with the territory. Some comparing him to Petrino.. lol. Crazy stuff.

Don’t know facts but deduction says he is a pretty hardcore MA apologist and EMs no bullshite style probably doesn’t bode well for the clueless arse kisser culture that expects rewards for useless blind support.

Team has been gutting out close wins.

We still haven’t really played “well” besides maybe the UGA game this season. Although they stink.

Pretty happy to be where we are based on what appears to be the team still figuring some things out.

I think Vanover has a place.

I think it was that the coaching staff figured what his place was.

He has height but not the weight to bang down low and he's not quite good enough to be a sharpshooter from outside. But... if you park him in that medium area all it takes is for the guy guarding him to look away for a second and Vanover can take two steps and be in position for a lob dunk.

Let our yard dogs fight for supremacy under the basket, have the big galoot be the guy that comes in and sweeps up the trash.

he shoots well enough to really stretch the floor and his passing has been better than expected.

We've got enough rebounders where he can really focus on shot disruption on defense as well.

He will be a solid piece for two more years. You can't teach those kind of ball skills at his height.

He needs to bust arse gaining some weight and muscle though.

If Vannover can improve his foot speed just slightly, it would be night and day.

I know it's tough for him to move, but just from 3 years ago till now he's gotten quicker. Hard to believe watching him, but it's true.

He maybe the type of player that will have his best year as a senior.

I just remember him back in high school as very raw and didn't mature physically as quick as his peers.

He is a good example of someone that needs the college years for development. So I will certainly give him more time.

I have heard from some that he got sick and lost some weight, which is not what you want to hear from someone who already clearly has trouble putting on the pounds.

With extra weight and conditioning he could be quite effective for us. As you said, he does a lot of the little things very well.

He needs to use those bands and walk side to side with them. Develop those muscles a little bit.

If he was just slightly faster he would be dominant.

I think the team has really started to gel. I'm curious to see how they play at home against strong teams like LSU, Bama, and Florida.
