This is really surprising to me. I definitely think he'd see the floor for us this year

He played 7 mins for them.

He looked like he was starting to turn the corner for them when he had 11 points vs Mizzou a couple of weeks ago but has been too inconsistent.

Where are you getting that?

To me it looks like it opened at Kentucky +1 and is at -1 now

Yahoo app. It’s showing -1.5 now.

Just thought it was interesting that a 5-12 team is favored over a 14-5 team in conference play.

My favorite part of that game was Jimmy saying he didn't see much contact while Tate was getting hit in the face

For the moment we're 3rd in the SEC standings. A couple of quality wins away from being a lock in the dance.

Best coaching move of the game, even if it came a couple of possessions too late, was moving Smith to number 30 to end the game. Williams kept trying to switch on the screen and was singlehandedly letting Kentucky back into the game

Defending the 3 point line clearly wasn't one of the focuses before the game and probably for good reason, Kentucky was one of the worst 3pt percentage teams in the country. Some of tonight was us and some of it was them just making shots.

They only shot 31% inside the 3 point line so the defense was actually pretty good besides all the 3s.

Kentucky is actually a very solid defensive team and that was probably one of our most consistent games from the offensive end so hopefully that is something they build on and not more of a fluke.

The guy knows how to game plan.

He sticks with analytics, which can drive fans crazy, but it works the majority of the time.

Last night, after the game, he mentioned all the three pointers KY made, and how that's all on him. He saw their shooting percentage and decided to trap a little. Ended up hurting us, but at least he accepts it as his fault.

It’s a little misleading in the covid era. Doubt we win last night if there’s 20k fans at rupt.

Another aspect I loved was something as simple as switching to a zone after Cal called a TO. Cal obviously drew up a play against man and the zone screwed them all up.

While true, Musselman did get 4 of those last year. It took Mike end of year 3 to get past 4. Obviously Musselman had better pieces to work with than Mike when they both arrived.

What about wins vs ranked opponents?

Does Muss even have one?

I know he's had 3-4 NBA players in his first two seasons, both luxuries Nolan and Mike did not have.
