None of them committed before his first season here was over.

At this same point in his time here as Fry is currently at he had only landed commitments from Skipper and Jovan Pruitt

And they had good offers. Yes, eventually Pruitt didn't end up qualifying, but you could tell early on Pittman was going to be a good recruiter.

The early reception or lack thereof from recruits about Fry is pretty telling. I'm not saying Fry won't be or isn't a good coach, but the perception of his recruiting and results so far is pretty telling and damming.

You can tell if a guy is a good recruiter or not. Yes, we all know it takes time to build relationships, but it shouldn't be this hard to land some OL with some decent offers. We are really struggling. I'm not asking for a shitload of 4 and 5 star guys, but I don't want/expect us to compete against Emporia State or Tulsa for a kid. And that kid, Brady Latham, didn't even commit on the spot even with those offers being his best supposedly. That says enough in its own right.

Look...I hope Coach Fry ends up bring a great coach, but his recruiting just flat out sucks. And we're still trying to recover from Pittman's arse not recruiting his last few months and KA's shitty arse recruiting the last couple of years.

OL is the one position where we need an ace recruiter.

I read where Latham only recently started playing football, was a baseball kid his whole life. We’ll see if he starts to get more offers as the season goes on.

If the Vest kid in Searcy has a good year (he should), he may get an offer. Hogs have him on their radar. Has good size. Low 3 star.

OL is a position where a coach that can teach technique and develop talent is far more important than an ace recruiter

For example, look at how bad KA was even with Pittmans recruits.

it does help to be 6'6 315 lbs out of high school though if we say needed the talent quickly because we have a bunch of folks graduating in an already thin situation

Hudson Henry had 7 catches for 153 yards and 2 TDS in the first half vs Har-Ber.

We somehow had 19 sacks last year. I have no idea how. I'd like to see how many of those were in SEC play.

That was good for last in the SEC and tied for 102nd nationally.

More than I would have thought, honestly. I figured Soli's game would have eclipsed our SEC total.

Pretty sure De’Jon Harris led us in sacks with 3.5. When was the last year a LB led us in sacks? Can’t happen again if we want our DL to be decent.

Brady Latham just committed. This guy might have to play next year just due to how low our numbers will be. Dustin Fry doing work!

Hudson Henry, Elijah Higgins (nice to see him back on campus), Logan Kalleson, and Noah Rauschenberg were the names I could find.
