My dude,... exactly how could ANY coach in America do worse than this pac12 sissy has at Alabama ?
I couldve handled the decline under DeMeco, Kiff, or Dabo, but not this sissy. The guy is the definition of a candy-arse, soft spoken, beta that probably stares at his shoe laces if somebody bucks on his arse.

Kiffin+ALABAMA = Instant success = Would guarantee a National Championship = More, if Kiffin remained invested.

I really liked the DeBoer hire if we couldn’t get Kiffin. At least offensively we would be fun to watch with Kiffin . Who knows

DeBoer we've never seen in the south, or in a difficult league, or without an elite QB. Look at Dabo without a top 5 pick at QB - hot garbage.
Well done man
In hindsight it should’ve been Kiffin

That was in the past. Kiff is a middle aged guy now and I’ve heard he and Layla are back together now.

I don’t believe that. I’m sure they were too old for Kiff.

Because his forced departure likely caused Bama a natty.
Dude was focused on his HC job and Saban told him to leave. Thats bad form

I hope Amarillo Tide doesn’t mind me reposting what he posted in a thread I started this morning:
“I can't emphasize how badly Lane didn't just burn bridges at Bama, he dropped a thermo nuclear missile on those bridges. He will never, ever be the HC at Bama.”

Tuscaloosa is a small town. If this actually had happened, we would know the name of the booster and the wife.

Well that’s to Alabama’s detriment, not Kiffin’s. Lane has a low pressure job in Oxford where he can continue to go 9-4 every season with slightly above average talent, collecting a nice check, and needling rivals on X.
Alabama is floundering with a grossly overpaid Feng Shui consultant masquerading as a football coach. Kalen DeBoer needs two things to replicate his success at Washington that he doesn’t have and can’t get: an NFL caliber quarterback throwing to NFL caliber receivers and a 2-3 game schedule filled out with cream puffs, not an SEC meat grinder where it’s just a different level of difficulty every week.
I thought we had made a good hire with DeBoer. I was so dead wrong. He reeks of PAC-12 nonchalance towards football.
Dabo’s not leaving Clemson and Sark can’t be pried away from Texas. Besides that, he’s really starting to look like he can’t win the big game. So that leaves Kiffin as the only realistically attainable coach that knows how to win and understands the challenges of the SEC. Who else could we go after? Napier? Beamer? Cristobal? Hard pass on all 3. There are few proven commodities in college football at present. So someone just needs to swallow their pride and make a BUSINESS decision and check their emotions at the door!
Geez, you think some of these old farts would have learned their lesson after Coach Bryant left, but no, same hubris, same egos, same result.

Welp, Byrne is gonna frick this up. Unless Demeco Ryans is coming home that's it.
No Kiffin, no Lanning, No Demeco,... all that's left is an unproven West coast coach, that has no idea what the SEC is all about, and has never played at this level without a Heisman caliber QB. His team got mauled in the trenches by Michigan. No idea how people think this guy is any thing other than the next "hot name" up and coming future flop.
We KNOW what Kiffin is. My goodness his floor is competing in the playoff every year.
It really wasn't hard to see this coming folks.
Well, now that we all know pain and suffering is the only thing on the menu for the foreseeable future I truly hope all the Gen Z cupcakes out there are at least feeling safer since there is no discipline going on within the football program. No screaming, no being held accountable, no standards, no backbone... just roll the ball out there and lets have fun.
Is everyone having fun ? Cool... dont forget your participation trophy on the way out.
I guess it turns out Nick the GOAT Saban was not antiquated after all, eh ?

Above average talent? Ole Miss had 8 guys drafted last year - more than everyone except Texas, Ohio State, and Oregon.
Maybe Kiffin would do well here, but it’s bizarre for this topic to come up again after a season in which Kiffin blew it. Last year’s Ole Miss team with their schedule had no business missing the playoff.

Kiffin blew it
Kiff had exactly the same amount of losses (3) as Kirby and Sark last year... at Ole Miss ! Exactly who could we go get to do better ?
IDGAF who they had drafted, Ole Miss does not have the resources, brand, pedigree, or ability to attract top coordinators like Bama does.
Everybody in the SEC breathed a sigh of relief when Bama didn't hire Kiffin. Everyone knew he would be trouble at Bama. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY is scared to play a DeBoer football team.

No one is going to "name names" regarding Kiffin and his antics because it would be very embarassing/humiliating to the parties involved.

IMO that is the opposite of how media works. The more humiliating the closer to the front page/more clicks it gets.
Nope, this was pride and arrogance that led us away from the best option to continue a winning tradition.
Lane would take his roster at OM and beat Bama/DeBoer by two scores. Then he could trade rosters with DeBoer and beat DeBoer/OM with Bama roster by 3 scores.
DeBoer has a very weak presence.

If someone wants to DM me which boosters wife it was I will also sleep with her to take the heat off Kiffin. I don’t think they’ll hire me as coach.
I’ll take the bullet and get banned from future events.

Not only that, the names would be all over the internet. Not all this "smoke around Kiffin" bullshite.
Besides the fact that rich and powerful people who frick around always have at least a few enemies.
