In defense of Brady, Rhule is in way over his head and that offense becomes a disaster with no CMC regardless of who is calling the plays.

I wouldn't want to bother kicking the tires on him because he pretty much refuses to recruit though.

Probably because people knew how much he did around here from developing standpoint. Yes, he developed the quarterbacks along with Sark. Tua & Mac had major improvements under Milwee and the people who are really connected knew this stuff. Hence the ANGLE

Milwee called plays when Sark was the Head Coach while Nick Saban was out.

Since you used his Akron background...you might want to take a closer look at how the quarterbacks & receivers all got better and even broke records under his coaching while he was there.

Everybody wants to use where he's coached at to knock him lol. Everybody has to start somewhere.

Why? The guy had some great offenses at Oklahoma. They had both great passing and rushing. He's also a great recruiter who happens to be from Alabama.

I would bet

Phil Longo, OC, North Carolina

Warren Ruggiero, Wake Forest

Both get a look.

What about Willy Korn at Coastal Carolina?

Their offense is awesome.

I just question whether Saban is willing to roll the dice on these kind of guys at this point.

I would be alright with Kiffin and give him the title coach in waiting.

Mullen gives me a sqeemish feeling. Wouldn't want him to be a part of our program.

I just realized Bill O'Brien is like Alabama's Matt Canada.

It will be someone familiar with the system. Even the hires like Kiffin and Sark could trace their background to the Erhardt-Perkins system.

Carlton had a nice post on it last year.

All I ask is Saban hire a PROVEN successful OC. He seems to think he can just plug anyone into this spot and they'll run his offense with ease. Its a lot more than just calling plays.
