Our best hope was Fisch leaving UW and Grubb getting hired as the HC there.

Whoever hired all these assistants and has last say in any play calls and getting the team ready on a weekly basis making 11 million a year. Thats who

Here's the problem.

If your HC has to fire more than 2 assistants in the same off-season, you have doubts about your head coach. Even if you're not saying it yet.

OLC, RBC, S&C seems like a good list to me. This is the correct answer

Linebackers haven’t been that impressive either.

Just say it. The guy that makes all these hires doesn’t know how to hire

I think an honest assessment and the over all pulse is Deboer is a dead man walking. He likely isn’t fired now; but I’d be surprised if he gets past next season.

Ballou isn’t an issue and isn’t getting fired

Yeah because we look stronger and more physical than our opponents..

It hasn't been a slow spiral of losing strength, endurance and toughness since Ballou has been here.

Grubbs, OL coach, RB coach.

Grubbs has no feel for playcalling in the SEC. Everybody in the stadium knew the jet sweep was coming on 4th down; run a counter or playaction off of that.

Defense played hard, but just got worn down.

Any other coach would fire the OC after a season like this. So you have to ask yourself, why are we keeping Grubb around?

On grubb, 3 guesses and the first 2 dont count.

Separately, Byrne will prob be fired before or with deboer. Byrne firing deboer would be admitting failure in the only important hire he made without nick’s advice and that isn't likely.

Our offense didn’t score 31 points against any SEC team this year. That hasn’t happened since Shula’s last year. Our offense has too much talent to be this mediocre.

This is a massive indictment. Look at what LK did with an offense that featured Blake Sims and Amari Cooper and compare that to this shite. And the OL is not a new problem. It’s been an issue since ‘21. This offense started out bad and only got worse. Completely feckless, and the blame has to start at the top. This offense is CKD and CRG’s baby.

The strength coach is around the team more than any other coach on the field. They’re a driver of culture. Ask any player under Saban/Cochran who drove the culture more than anyone. They’ll tell you it was Cochran. Ballou needs to go.

And Grubb will be retained. Any other OC would be fired.
