I got banned for criticizing Shula. They were a bunch of sunshine pumpers.

Banned from Tidefans. I did win a CFB bowl pickem before I got the hammer, got a bball jersey.

A lot of Koolaid on that site. Could only imagine discussing the Qb situation on there.

I was on there until the site went down I guess a couple years ago. At the end it went downhill. Some strange people on the site.

It was. But, iyam dd was nothing more than than a wierd troll, just relentlessly spewing the same ole debbie downer schtick, hijacking countless threads arguing the same points endlessly. dd was almost like a bot. We had to weed through all the dd garbage posts and replies way too much.

I had forgotten about the name HSV until I read this thread. I was banned 15 or so years ago after the second time I started a thread that didnt have enough details in the subject line.

I think I put something like "Arkansas Game" when a basketball game was about to tip off. What a weird freaking guy.

I was banned for life for calling the moderator that calls himself Tide HSV a smart arse. Some on there call him Earl.

I remember Earle once saying something along the lines of "Dabo will never get the Bama job if I have anything to do with it." When I pressed him, he mentioned something that happened when he was a Dubose assistant. This was before the Clemson title.

HSV took me out. Someone posted a pic of Jalen supposedly cheering on Tua in support you know. And I just cracked that I saw fear in his eyes

HSV sent me a private message in which he said I had crossed the line in saying something negative about a player etc etc. which was all fine. But it went on and on with a threatening tone and it was clear that he was enraged when he wrote it.

And I just started thinking about how crazy it was and how people lose perspective when their constantly online and think they can bring the abuse like they’re your boss or wife or something. So I told him to shove it up old arse.

It all about tone you know. They are controlling freaks over there. I can’t imagine how someone could last more than a few weeks there and maintain any self respect. You have to constantly coddle and complement and agree with these crazy mods who clearly have lost their shiit from total immersion in their online world,

Suffice to say, my password was disabled and then permanently deleted. I was given their death penalty.

It was the cyber equivalent of Negan taking Lucille to me or pressing a hot iron to my face.

But it’s their sandbox you know. And I respect that. In fact I knew before I joined that they would expel me in short order like some deadly pathogen.

They are a cult, because all but the most disgusting arse kissers are long gone... excepting Huddie of course, who is a fine gentleman and in possession of a keen football mind.

I don’t know. The frustrating thing is I love the Tide. But I often infuriate tide fans. Its disappointing really. There seems to be a dearth if sense of humor on some of these boards.

And believe you me, it does not pay to be ahead of the curve. The Shula years were tough. I knew at his introductory press conference that the guy was a loser. Go back and watch it. He didn’t even bother to prepare any remarks. Can you imagine? The break of his life and he couldn’t bother to jot down a few notes some index cards. He was. Lazy from day one.

These were the TI day’s. And they would brutalize me when I criticized Shiela. I turned on him mid year two and the rest of them were still convinced we were headed to glory like a pack of imbeciles.

But I too have mellowed over the years, and have tired of the animus. And now, I’ve found a home and I intend to enjoy the next several seasons with you, my new good friends here at my new home.
