I left the house after the Auburn TD - took a drive, occasionally looking down at my scoreboard app.

Actually opened my Hulu+Live TV app after the muffed punt, just to see the botched snap and penalty. Figured it was bad luck for me to watch (weird what we do huh?) and turned it back off. I drove past a brewpub on my way back to the house and could barely make out a scene on a big screen on the wall of the place - it was of an AU fan looking very, very, very sad.

I knew then that the near impossible had happened.

In a sports bar, in Columbus, surrounded by sad Buckeye fans watching it on a TV that was silent...

When Bond caught it I just looked at my wife and smiled.

Inside I was bouncing off the damn walls

Scaring my wife at the house.
Same. We have a TV in the kitchen and I was making chili, and holy frick did I get nothing done for about an hour. But when Bond plucked that thing out of the air, I pulled a calf muscle dancing.

ETA: Also told her just before snap on 4th&31 that if we won this game I'd buy her a Mercedes for her 35th birthday. She made a facebook post about it and I plea bargained down to a convertible beetle.

Me and my wife went to Helen Ga. for the weekend (actually Dahlonega but went to Helen Saturday) and watched the game at Paul’s Margarita Deck but might as well been in Athens with all the Uga fans there.

Needless to say the situation was looking mighty dismal with 4&31 and we kept to ourselves being deep in enemy territory, but she looked at me and said we’re fixing to score a TD and win and I didn’t really like the odds of that happening. But it did and she leaned over and kiss me and said… I told you so. I never said a word and stayed calm and cool.

Some Uga fans setting next to us asked are you not happy that Bama won? I said hell yeah I’m happy, but it’s nothing compared to 2nd and 26 gave them a roll tide and enjoy your evening and hauled arse outta there.

Living room. Wife took our son to Urban Air so had it all to myself.

Start of 4th I logged off here, took my Bama shirt off and put on a plain collared shirt.

After that 3rd and 26 penalty, I just sat back in the recliner and resigned myself. Had remote in hand to turn it off immediately after the 4th down play because I melt in Auburn wins

When Bond caught it, I had uncontrollable laughter for idk 30 or 40 minutes. The kind where your side hurts and you start coughing like you got the super flu. The idea that Auburn fans are going to be haunted by this play as much as Kick Six haunted me just had me in stitches.

Apologize for the long post:

We had about 20 people watching it at our house in three rooms. Most of us were in a large room in the basement. The teens were in the theater room. No one was watching on the main floor, until I went upstairs when we were stopped on third down on our next to last drive, and then Auburn muffed the punt. I came back downstairs to celebrate, and everyone told me I had to stay upstairs for good luck. My wife came up with me. We watched the last play and started going nuts. Four of the younger kids playing upstairs came running down to see what happened and we all started jumping up and down and hugging and going crazy. We then ran downstairs and celebrated with everyone in the other two rooms. It was pretty awesome. I hate to admit it, but I let the younger kids roll the house next door (Auburn fans we are good friends with; it's good-natured and they don't get mad). All in all, one of the best celebrations ever. We all refreshed our glasses of yellowhammers.

Wife and I were watching in the living room. I was nursing a bourbon and coke bitching about the bad snap after getting so pumped after the recovered fumble.

When Bond came down and we saw no flags, we both jumped around screaming “Hell Yeah” and then realized how bad the Aubs must feel and then we laughed like hell and proclaimed the Auburn Voo Doo was dead forever!
Poured myself a Weller and started reading all the post game comments.

I'm in the same boat as you. Both of my sons are away now and only one was home for the holiday and was watching it with me. Was a special moment to get to share it with him.

I was in the middle of playing a show. My watch went off saying Bama won, so I stopped after the song to check the score. Smiled and moved on to the next one.

After our set, I went outside and watched the end on YouTube and went nuts.

Watched the whole thing at my house. Missed the muffed punt as I was in the kitchen but heard hollering and had to explain that you can't advance a muffed punt. The whole last series was like a fevered dream.

I didn't even yell when Bama scored. I was expecting a flag or something.

It was like the opposite of hearing someone you know died suddenly. "Wait, it's over? This is a permanent thing?"

Same - when I ran downstairs, everyone thought it was a TD after the punt and I had to explain.

I didn't really believe in the TD until we kicked the extra point. I'm sure Gary was scouring the replay for any sign of ball movement.

My wife came in and watched one play...one play! Any guesses to which play that was? Honestly, if it hadn't been for her, I was headed out the door to release some frustration doing some yard work. I wouldn't have known we actually won until hours later...lol
