Guys you’re not going to believe this but Goodman wasted no time putting together another clownish article about our “tarnished SEC championship”. Not linking it because I’m not giving that moron any clicks.

Like a little kid throwing a tantrum.

Hopefully none of our coaches ever take a question from him again. What a tool. Not worth the time and trouble.

In that initial article by Goodman, he said Miller "retrieved" the gun and took it to Davis. How do you retrieve a gun if you never touch it?

I will address some of the concerns with universities freezing out reporters covering controversial stories in my new weekly newsletter. You can sign up here.

Even his mother wouldn't sign up for his shite.

You know his dumbass reads these boards. I just want to make it clear that my dislike of him goes far beyond this Miller story. He wanted football cancelled over covid...he wanted Nascar to cancel Talladega over a rope pull. He's a sniveling little left-wing jackass that probably thinks he's intelligent with his pitiful journalism degree. Well Joseph, I have a doctorate and can wholeheartedly confirm you are a grade A dumbass. You'll probably win some "award" no one has ever heard of for your hard hitting "reporting"... enjoy. I honestly don't see how even al.commie can keep this guy on the beat...but looking at the rest of their writers on the staff, it's no surprise.

What's he got to lose? Readership for his garbage paper has already shrunken down to the few leftists who live in Alabama and the Auburn fans who listen to Finebaum and post on the Rant.

The guy is emblematic of the sophomoric nature of the News.

This guy is not representative of those of us with a journalism degree and a functioning brain. When I went to school people were still reading newspapers and the writers were a lot more careful with what made it to print.

The first thing we learned in our college journalism courses was how the media (at its core) has a basic and ethical responsibility to report the truth bolstered by research and facts. Even in opinion columns, throwing out wild claims like Goodman was a great way to find yourself in a lawsuit.

Even though I didn't end up working in that business, I still hold journalists to at least some sort of standard. So, to see a complete goofydick like Goodman put out endless trash and somehow still earn a paycheck, it just reminds me what a desperate industry print media has become. AL.com needs to close up shop if guys like this are the only way they can turn a buck. Hopefully he keeps getting the silent treatment at media events.

AL.com is absolute trash, bottom of the barrel media coverage. We should give them the cold shoulder at every press conference going forward. In the 2000's they at least had talented columnists, even though I didn't like them because they didn't like Alabama at all. Scarbinsky, Phillip Marshall and Charles Hollis to name a few. Not likeable at all but good sports writers. Goodman couldn't hold their jockstrap, so to speak. He's an embarrassment to the profession and probably would be better off working with Clay Travis at Outkick.

Let’s be serious

Has he always been this type of writer or did something change with his style after his son’s tragedy?

He also DEMANDS that Bama and Auburn start playing home and homes with UAB in football and basketball. Nobody cares that much about UAB sports other than trolls

Yeah, the UAB football program really doesn’t have any money. It’s just as bad as it was when they decided to cancel the program a few years ago. I’m pulling for them because there are a lot of good guys on that coaching staff, but the reality is nobody, including the city of Birmingham, cares about UAB football, and getting worked over by Alabama or Auburn isn’t going to really do anything for them.

Now he’s apparently asking every SEC coach in Nashville about their gun policy. What a moron.
