Shut down? That's just not something you see all that often anymore. Offensive football has advanced too far for it to be a likely scenario.

I think they were pretty great against Murray. He did expose our lack of athletes on the edge a good bit but outside of the long bomb he didn't do much through the air.

I'm one of those few on this board that said Tua was the better qb while most of you were saying he would only play after Jalen was done.
I don't remember many people saying this.

It doesn’t happen. They are elite because they are elite. Is what it is. Avoid big plays.

He’s a very good athlete but he is very much like Tua but maybe quicker. He is a passer that can run well.

It would help if Bama didn't go years at a time with their best pass rushers injured.

I've never seen such a run of bad luck at one position like OLB the past few years.

A healthy Lewis, Miller, and Allen vs Clemson would make a huge impact in this game. Pass rush is going to be paramount in this game.

Why are we assuming Lawrence is elite? Check his numbers vs Shea Patterson, factor in competition, and get back to me.

Jesus Christ. Since starting the guy has played literally one team that ended the season ranked (got knocked out of Syracuse game early). Besides Notre Dame (who they had a month to prepare for and who was way overrated) the best win they have in that stretch is South Carolina. Any statistical analysis between bama and Clemson since Lawrence has been starter needs to look only at unranked teams bama played while tua was healthy. That's about the equivalent of what Lawrence has faced

He might not be elite but we sure as hell shut down that kid from the Citadel. Check the passing stats in that game!

Bama still hasn’t stopped an elite QB.

We should have pass interfered more - at least try and be on the cusp. They don't call it in cfb enough to dissuade it - and its only 15 yards

I’m not convinced these DBs can even interfere correctly.
