Seems like its been at least five maybe six years in a row of unbearable injury bullshite that limits the potential of the team to accomplish their goals.

What was the last season Bama made it through with all the critical players healthy ? I'm curious.

Barret Jones had a severe foot injury that never healed right and ultimately made him retire. He finished the last 3ish games on one foot.

What a beast of a player for us.

Did not know how serious his injury was. Now I can see why he did not make it in the Pro's. Sad, he was an outstanding College OL.

2015- Lost Robert Foster, who was Bama's leading receiver and top receiver at the time.

2014- Lost Drake, who was tearing it up the first 4 games.

2013- Ryan Kelly was injured and missed the Iron Bowl.

2012- Lost Fowler, Hart, Chris Black, White and Nick Perry.

2011- Lost Hart and Will Lowery

2010- Mash Unit

09- Lost Hightower

08- Pretty healthy

Yeah, but Calvin Ridley moved up and we didn’t really miss a beat. That was probably the last season we didn’t have a season ending injury to a key guy.

Bolden looked good yesterday, and Mechie has developed into a deep ball threat. Neither can fully replace Waddle and his explosiveness, but I think we’ll be fine the rest of the season. Sure sucks to lose him though.

2017 and 2019 they were so damn many. 2012 had a lot too. 2016 had only 2 but they were MASSIVE losses

2016 had more then 2. SDH got hurt against Auburn or Florida and missed the NCG. Shank Taylor, a starting OL, was lost around the Arkansas game.

Obviously, but you usually can’t have to many serious injuries to important players and still win it all. Winning a championship involves luck, with limiting the injuries being one of those such lucks.

With good as LSU’s offense was last year, think if they had lost someone like Chase. They had quite a few close games, and could’ve lost 1 or 2 of them without someone like him.

This. It's unusual if you don't lose a player I feel like. It's the nature of the game.

People want to criticize Waddle for bringing the ball out on that KO. Even I did at first. That tackle though, happens often, and there is literally ZERO guarantee he doesn't get injured in another play of the game. It sucks, and I still feel really sad we likely don't see him play in a Bama jersey ever again, but this is just a part of football. Can't protect everyone y'all.

Yeah there was nothing special about the tackle. Even on multiple replays I thought it looked pretty benign. Just a freak accident. And no one would have been complaining if he took it 105 yards for a TD.

It's football. It happens.
