The actual fans at the home games! There’s really no reason BD isn’t one of the loudest stadiums around...far too many people are just there socializing or taking selfies during the games! I’ve been to stadiums that are lit for just about the entire game and the feeling is electric. The crowd only comes alive when certain situations are at hand. To me, BD isn’t that loud or intimidating....maybe it’s just me...idk. Any thoughts on this?

Still have a bunch of "old" school fans there.

I literally went to a game one time when this older couple behind me asked me to sit down because they couldn’t see.

Most of the people around us are fairly laid back.

It sounded LOUD at moments last night. Like really loud. Maybe it was just the tv.

I just feel as a fan, we should give 100% just like the players on the field are doing or at least trying to do. As a player, you feed off the electricity the fans create! To me it’s sad when the loudest occurrences during the entire game is when the LED lights start flashing! On a side note...I think the loudest it got last night was on the fumble 6 return.

I was listening on the radio and couldn’t figure out what had happened for a second or two. Loud cheering.

That's just an unreasonable expectation.

The loudest moments last night were the Diggs scoop and score, the 2 great punts by the walk on and every time the lights were showcased. Tons of people around us were sitting on their hands when the Vols had the ball. Even in 3rd and 4th down situations. But it seems to be that way every time we play someone that isn’t a real threat. Wish it were different.

It is what it is. BDS isn't very loud. Last consistently loud game honestly was the 2010 iron bowl. There have been moments, but that was the last game where it was loud every possession.

And yes that includes the 2011 LSU game

I bet you had 20 rows of seated people in front of you.

I've spent most of games on my feet when it was an exciting game and never even thought about sitting.

I've also had dumbasses standing for long stretches when there was little to stand about and there literally was no one standing between them and row 1. Just standing, arms crossed, not even cheering.

It was a lot louder before the team was so good.

That’s he truth. Fans are spoiled now and expectations are through the roof. Plus the games just aren’t close enough for the crowd to get into it.

I think you’ll see a pretty amazing crowd for LSU in terms of noise.

There are plenty of times to sit during the game IMO. Tv Timeouts, end of Quarters, halftime, hell you can even sit when the offense is on the field. But when the defense is out there be standing and as loud as you fricking can.

What if you're sitting behind people that are much taller than you?

Kind of inconsiderate of the people in front, don't you think? You can yell while sitting down.

Everyone that's complaining about lack of crowd noise needs to advocate getting rid of shakers.
