The team laid down and quit against USF last year because their guy got benched. Ty is a talented quarterback. Shame that he is being judged on that one game because the rest of the offensive starters acted like assholes.

More importantly, what would our record be with Star Jackson?

What should he be judged on? No one has seen him play any other meaningful minutes in an actual game.

It's fine for people on this board to say they want to give Ty a chance to see if he's better, but far too many people are assuming that he's basically Tom Brady and the only thing preventing him from playing is our coach's fear that he'll lose the locker room

Are we really sure they quit? USF was a play away from changing the whole result of the game this year. It was 21-16 till the middle of the fourth quarter

The Mack that you saw at A-Day showed him to be a walk-on at Best.

Then again you already know that.

My point is that what we’ve seen of Milroe suggests that he’s regressed big time and has no confidence right now. He can’t read the field, won’t take off and run when there are running lanes and the team is frustrated with him. I don’t what the point of playing him now is. He’s a liability and not the future of the program.

Mack is the truth. He was coming off a major transition and was strong in the pocket. It will be between him and Russell next year unless Holstein transfers back. Both are true pocket passers, we had to much running at QB.

Milroe has something else going on in his life at this time. Only he and his posse know the real story.

After each offensive series he goes over to the dugout and the look is if he is waiting Door Dash to bring his chicken wings.

Whatever happened to days of the QB and the OC taking about the plan for the next series? I guess they have it down.

I’m thinking we are probably the same - or worse

Nothing against Simpson but he ain’t the savior everyone on here thinks he is.

Milroe's confidence looks shot and it isn't the first time in his career he has looked like this. I just think he is not built for the big stage.

I don't think he outright gets benched but you have to pull him quick if it goes bad next week. I don't think you can give it to Ty, he is more of a running QB and lacks explosiveness down the field to really use Hollywood. I worry about him leading the team. I think you go with Lonergan, he is a leader that can sure up the penalty issues, if Mack isn't ready, but it might be best for him to get those snaps.

The whole team has looked bad against South Florida for two straight years. Maybe it’s a little unfair to judge Simpson on that one game.

Maybe so. Odd given the talent gap but could just have our number.

Yes he is a QB on the University of Alabama football team. I also brought up Lonergan and Simpson and Milroe.

Also I would not pee on you sir, it is unsanitary.

Name a better duo than:

Alabama fans and wanting the 2nd string QB to start.

It's a tale old as time. Every year.

It’s a statistic impossibility that there are two QBs on our roster worse than Milroe.

We need a guy that can manage a game and hit open receivers IN STRIDE. Not behind them and making them turn back. Not high and making them jump and getting knocked out.

Hit open receivers like hundreds of high school QBs do every Friday night,

Thats it.
