This dude is a known hack and gets his “sources” from 247/On3/TigerDroppings. He doesn’t know anything. He may be right, but that would only be due to luck, not actual journalism or first hand knowledge of anything.

I am hanging my hopes on this video being true. Because if Saban hired Steele without this plan, my disappointment level rises. *And for the record, Tide Saint alluded to this same rumor last night. So don't act like this has no merit to it*.

Stephen A. Smith. He probably does get most of his info via other internet sources, but he also does have some casual contact with ex-players. What he says in this instance would make some sense (that Steele may be here while waiting on Pruitt to clear, basically), not sure if he's right or not. He may just be speculating, like the rest of us. It also could be that Steele was chosen to pair with Armstrong, who is young and promising, but inexperienced.
