For me

(1) Don't overthink it on offense. We're a good offense that at times has brain farts from players and coaches. We have the ability to attack teams running or throwing depending on looks, but there are also times when we are doing a thing that works - keep doing it until they stop it. Don't outthink yourself.

(2) Defensively just please be in the right place. I actually think today is probably a good chance for us to get some confidence because State is so simplistic in what they do. Overthinking should not be an issue. Let's hope we just send guys out there with some simple responsibilities and see them play fast. Gotta see some leaders show up.

(3) Play some kids. They don't have to start, but it should would be nice to see a few of the young WRs rotationally. And we all know about parts of the OL.

Today is a huge game. If we can grind it out and come home with a win then we have 4 straight very winnable home games AND a bye before we go to Auburn. We have a chance to find ourselves and figure out whatever the best version of this team can be going into the home stretch. But we have to win today, however it looks, to do that.

I’d like someone on the interior d-line to give us something to be optimistic about

For the offensive line to not play like dogshit, maybe get Owens tf out of there, and look better in the middle of the D.

I'm just looking for a win. Even a close victory could be beneficial for this team. The 2014 version of Alabama found itself during a rainy evening in Fayetteville in a one point victory over Arkansas.

Sound fundamental tackling on defense.

Simple answers: Better more focused defense on all levels with players knowing and executing their assignments. Better coaching on D.

On offense, run the ball. Then the QB needs to throw catchable long balls. And I want the tight ends to just catch the damn ball.

Kind of agree - this is a survival game. Then we get to come home and get to work on fixes. Gotta find anyway to win today.

I'm hoping we win the timeout game again, regardless of the scoreboard. Carrying no less than 2 into the half is an absolute must.

Get up 14, then every single play call should be a bomb to Jameson until Bryce figures out how to not overthrow him. I can't watch this guy run wide open as the ball sails over his head anymore.

For me:

1)Have one of Dale, Mathis,Eboigbe,Young,Smith,or Ray shed a block and make a tackle. Just once...
2)Have CHarris not get cut 3-5 times,Not loaf 3-5 times, and for once Stone a blocker, press him off of him,and make a tackle taking the RB back on his arse...Just once
3)Make 1 tackle where we get solid on a guy with the ball and take him back on his arse...Just once
4)Create a couple of turnovers in our backend...
5)No 2 defenders for Bama run into each other...Run into the other team..
6)No more than 2 "Miscommunications" in the backend when we pass off with 1 guy in man and 1 guy in zone
7)Make a play on a thrown ball of over 25 yds,in which a TIDE DB locates the ball and doesnt commit a PI...
8)We Slide Pro to protect Owens...A lot...
9)Bryce makes 1 good ball fake....
10)Let Trey,Roydell,Agiye,Leary,and Brooks play...
11)JBill and Metchie become the explosive guys that I know them to be..

Asking for too much?

For Golding to be fired before it starts.

If he isn't, it will be a disappointment no matter the outcome.
