And after a loss or even an ugly win is when the trolls and front runners are most active. For that matter, though, there is a lot of that on this board in the best of circumstances, which accounts for the fact that the forum doesn't have a lot of active Alabama fans that just aren't interested in constantly bashing the team, so they go to other Alabama boards. Reasonable discussion about problems is certainly understandable, and we are all frustrated this year. Constant negativity, though, turns some people away. It's just how it is. Downvote away.
eta: when a poster has like 580 posts in 7 years, and only shows up to bitch about things, that's a clue
this board is at a LSU website and is a click away from an active trash talking board. It shouldn't be a surprise that there is a lot of Bama bashing here, and so it shouldn't be a surprise that a lot of bona fide Alabama fans just aren't very active here. Yes, there are some, but relatively fewer than at an Alabama board that doesn't allow obvious trolls.

Likewise, there really is no point in bitching and crying after a bad game. It isn't going to change anything.
I think a good healthy board has a good mix of positive and negative, because that's reality. We have optimists and we have pessimists, and no problems. The problems on a message board is when obvious trolls are allowed to stir the sht without consequences. It just runs off some people. No huge deal.
