Exactly this.

Watching game film is maddening. You can see the concepts, and see how the plays SHOULD develop, but then… there’s Milroe. He can’t execute. It’s hard to watch.

Absolutely correct. But his surrogates will continue to defend his shitty performances.

I’m not ready to bury DeBoer yet. It not the losses that concern me, it’s the way they’ve happened. 2 of our losses came to 6 win teams with inferior talent that absolutely took it to us.

What the frick? Maybe for the coordinators or position coaches but I doubt that too.

What I've seen suggests that this head coach is not going to be around for more than 3-4 years if these problems continue. However, the head coach is certainly going to keep his job for at least 3 seasons before they make any termination decisions.

Lanning Sark and Kirby are all better than DeBeor

Maybe so, but DeBoer is undefeated against all of them.

Crazy enough, DeBoer is 6-0 against this trio.

You all want to turn Alabama into Florida post Urban or Texas after Mack. CKD needs at minimum 3 years.

I 100% agree. Generally speaking, I don't think an AD should terminate a head coach for performance before 3 seasons. There are extenuating circumstances on some rare occasions but what is going on in Tuscaloosa is not one of those (at least from the outside looking in).

3-4 losses doesn’t get you fired in first season. There are other things (that, to be sure, contribute to the w/l) that have decision makers & money folks less than 100.

Correct but would rather have consistency than a soft rollercoaster. Also after watching this shite show it just proves how good a college QB penix was rather than how good a coach DeBoer is

Based on this logic... NO other QB on the roster could run Sheridan offense. Is that what we're saying here? If so, we better hope we get a really good QB from the portal. That sounds awful....

For the defensive coordinator? Absolutely.

No adjustments, at all in the first half. Getting run on over and over, same formation

I won't be shocked if it ends up being another Ray Perkins situation and DeBoer jumps to the NFL after this season. Cash out now before his stock tanks for good.

For what position, and with which team? He sure as he!! isn't getting a head coaching job at that level. Perhaps a team would be willing to try him out as WR coach?

LMAO ! You have to prove that you’re a good coach before even thinking about the NFL. That has to be a joke. After what we’ve seen this season it wouldn’t hurt if he did move on. I don’t think that he’s a fit here.

I think firing any coach in year 1 is ridiculous.

Agreed.

But the AD should absolutely have a meeting after the last game of the season and lay out expectations for what the HC needs to do. Demand improvement in areas X, Y, and Z and lay out the consequences if that doesn't happen.

Firing him after year 1 is ridiculous. After year 2, all bets are off. He's fair game if improvements haven't been made. And that doesn't necessarily mean more wins.
