If we get Bediako(99% we will) and Rojas transfers like expected, that open spot has to go to a Guard IMO.

Same. I would rather get another big guard/SF like Timberlake than another 6'3 guard like Burnett.

It’s pretty obvious we are gonna need an extra spot and with Bediako, Wilson, Tchikou, Ambrose, and Gary it’s too much to have 6 Bigs with our style. Plus Insider on other boards have said if we need to make room Rojas gets the boot

Dosunmo is gone he will be a first rounder and Frazier and Williams are seniors.
Burnett could start there next year with Curbelo and Miller.
He wouldn't start here over JD, Quinerly, Shack, or Primo. Ellis would probably get more playing time than he would too.

As for Rojas transferring, he very well might but KAH could as well. He looks very athletic to me but has been unable to earn any playing time when we have needed inside help desperately.

Umass center Tre Mitchell is in the portal. He is a STUD. Averaged 19 ppg and 7 rebounds per game, shot 37% from three. He will be a Jr.

Shot 37% on 3 threes a game and 33% on 3.5 threes a game as a freshman. Not like a super low volume 37% from 3 AND he shot 77% from the line, so he seems like a pretty legit shooter at 6'9 240.
1.5 blocks a game, 7 rebounds....
I've never seen him play, but yeah that's an impressive stat line.

Bediako said he's going to be patient in this process and see where his best fit is. It's down to us and Ohio State really, and they need a big like well.
But all signs to him committing to us.
I don't know about Rojas transferring, but KAH is definitely not. He's a young guy just waiting his turn. Herb and Oats have said he brings it every day in practice and is a high energy guy. Oats probably doesn't trust his defense this early in his career. Probably why Miles and him only see playing time in blowouts.

Apparently the belief is that he is leaving because UMass totally bungled their handling of COVID and had players isolated in hotels for weeks at a time. So maybe Alabama, which has arguably handled COVID better than any school in the country as far as athletics goes, will appeal to him.
