What makes JD Davison the best high school point guard?….Especially when compared to Kennedy Chandler.

They are both tremendous players who are currently ranked as JD Davison at No. 9 and Kennedy Chandler at No. 13 as the overall prospects in the 247Sports Composite. Davison is a Ja Morant type at 6-3 and with crazy athleticism and an innate ability to find the open man and make the difficult pass. I have compared Chandler to Eric Bledsoe because of Chandler’s power packed athleticism at 6-1 and ability to attack the basket, hit jumpers and impose his will on the game.
Regardless of where the two wind up in the rankings, Alabama and Tennessee are getting tremendously talented point guards. We will certainly get the opportunity to judge who should have been ranked higher after one year of college and then multiple years of NBA play.
