Could have been a contingency plan, but I think he was counting on Bolden committing from the start. Bolden was probably going to follow Oats to any school.

For sure, and to be fair right after we are talking about Parham so clearly another guard wouldn't be the worst thing, but it seems unlikely he would get a spot over Rojas.

Baker's HS coaching career is more impressive than Bucky's. On paper he looks like the next Nate Oats.

We also need to get a shout out to Jamychal Green. Dude had an efficient game last night.

They came back from a 31 pt deficit.

There are some good bigs in the sit-out list.

Jordan Brown, Jaedon Ledee, Cam Lard are all athletic guys that would fit under Oats. Ledee will probably go back to a Texas school although we recruited him under Avery. I don't remember if it was Pett that was on him.

I don't really know what to expect on Brown, but that's a definite long shot. I'm surprised Lard transferred at all.

Connor Vanover is in there too. Interesting prospect that we recruited. 7-3 guy that averaged 7.5 points and 1.3 blocks on 47% fg percentage, 35.5% from 3. Don't think he fits the athletic profile Oats wants, but he can spread the floor.

I like that Oats is offering a lot of 2020 and 2021 5 star players, hopefully we get some of them.

Blaxkshear is a pipe dream for us. I think aTm will be his 1st choice. And after that Kentucky, Duke,North Carolina would all be happy to have him.

Nate ain’t shy about throwing offers out there. I like it! They won’t come if you don’t ask. Cast thy bread upon the waters, Nate.

You'd have to give the full quote though

Reinstating Will Wade looks like it will be the final straw that breaks the camels back with Joe Aleva. Aleva stepping down as L8U AD

Did Alleva make the call to reinstate him or was it a decision made for him and he is now resigning in protest? If it's the former, why the frick would you make that decision and then leave and let someone else clean up a mess you needlessly made on your way out the door?
