If Javion Davis develops into the muscle bully that he can, rough house, play mean, control the boards and fight through contact for and 1s,Bama will be the most loaded team in the nation next season and the most difficult team to beat on any court

According to ESPN attendance was 10,950 (71%). Was hoping for more.

Credit to the guy Luke that is leading the charge in the student section though. They were full and loud again today.

Wish we could get Byrne to change the student section to run the length of the court instead of being a vertical section though.

Vandy has never played a game with the 3pt line where they didn’t at least make 1. They haven’t made one yet with 2:05 left

Vandy finished 0-25 from 3. I set the over/under at 10 threes against us.

This Vanderbilt team is a different animal from any previous Vanderbilt team

They're bad.

You'll beat them by 20+

Which is why they'll light us up from 3. It's how Bama basketball works.

I think we win, but Vandy will no doubt get hot from 3.

After back-to-back home games, Alabama will hit the road for its next game as it travels to Vanderbilt on Wednesday at 8 p.m. CT. The Commodores (8-8, 0-3) entered Saturday with a four-game losing streak.

Alabama won both of its meetings against Vanderbilt last season, winning 77-67 in Nashville, Tenn., before completing the sweep with a 68-61 victory in Tuscaloosa. Before last year’s road win against the Vanderbilt, Alabama had lost 14 of its last 15 games against the Commodores inside Memorial Gym.

Vanderbilt will be without second-team Preseason All-SEC guard Aaron Nesmith is likely to miss the remainder of the season after sustaining an injury to his right foot against Texas A&M earlier this month. Nesmith leads the SEC averaging 23.0 points per game.

Vandy could field a team of walk-ons against us in Nashville and they'd go 10-25 from 3 and play lights out defense while we miss everything, turn the ball over 15+ times, and get zero calls our way. It is just how things work for us in that place.

I may be screwing up the reverse jinx, but I think we’ll hammer them.

Also my observations on the LSU-Ole Miss game: Skylar Mays has to be in his early-mid 30s and Will Wade is wearing borderline male maternity clothing.

My more serious observations are that I’m not sure LSU is that good, but we will have trouble keeping them out of the lane and off the glass. They do present some matchup issues.

Watching the Oats post game presser, he blows me away with attention to detail. We're in good hands.

Could only imagine if we had Quinerly.
