Actually I was a Ingram supporter until he transferred. I did appreciate a lot of the the things he did do well. There has only been one player that I have openly ridiculed repeatedly while still here and that was Key.

With all that said, Ingram isn’t a good fit in this offense. He would be another Herb on the floor that doesn’t take chargers as affectively. Like Herb he was scared to pull the trigger and shoot. He had a good percentage from deep but if you won’t pull the trigger then it does no good.

The most recent one I can think of is Shannon Hale.

Another weird loss in a season ate up with weird losses. Iowa State lost to Florida A&m last night.

They were a 25 point favorite

WHAA??? FAMU is TERRIBLE!! We could roll the women’s team out there and beat the rattlers. That is amazing, hard to believe.

I’m not sure I’m in the “Beetle is a substantial upgrade over Dazon” camp yet. He’s certainly played better lately, but he was pretty awful for a while.

Dazon isn’t an obvious fit in this scheme/style, but he could probably play some 3 or even 4 for us. That being said, he wanted a change, and we’re doing fine.

In an alternate universe, Bill Battle would've overpaid for Steve Prohm to be our hc.

Ladies start league play with an ugly loss to LSU. I think this may be the beginning of the end for Curry. Losing league record coming.

SEC may struggle to get teams in: It also will not be easy to build resumes in the SEC, although that is more typical, last year excepted. The league ranks sixth among the power conferences this season. There are only four teams in the current top 50 of the NET, led by undefeated Auburn at No. 7. The Tigers and Arkansas are the only two teams in the SEC with at least 10 wins.

Kentucky is part of the problem, although the win over Louisville on Saturday is a big boost not just to the league, but to the Wildcats. And they really needed a boost. Kentucky has an odd tournament resume so far. They are 2-1 against top notch teams, win a win over Michigan State and a loss to Ohio State. The problem is that the Wildcats are 7-2 against everyone else, and only one of those games is outside of quadrant four. That was the overtime loss to Utah right before Christmas. Kentucky, a No. 7 seed in this bracket, will have precious few chances at quality wins as well and may not have a chance to get a very high seed unless it ends up dominating the SEC.

We’ve got 3 chances to get big resume boosting wins in the next 4 games, @Florida, Auburn, @ Kentucky. I hope we can get one of them, if we get two I’m gonna build a statue of Oats in my front yard.

Good luck tomorrow

I know you guys lack rebounders and physical post players so I'd bet getting Blackshear post touches and Johnson getting face-up opportunities but knowing this UF team we'll probably play right into your scheme and jack up 30 threes

Here’s where SEC teams are at in the new bracketology from @ESPNLunardi: No. 2 Auburn, No. 6 Kentucky, No. 8 Arkansas, and No. 10 Florida. Tennessee is among the first four out, and LSU is among the next four out.

According to @betonline_ag LSU basketball has an 80/1 chance to make the NCAA tournament as conference play begins

Kentucky, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee and Alabama all have better odds
