So Prielipp now has 35 Ks in 21 innings and has yet to allow a run to score. The competition hasn't been fantastic, but it's still baseball and he's still only a freshman so at some point it's more that he's just fricking good than it is that they are bad. Now we just need to find another weekend starter and I think we could probably make some noise this season. I really shouldn't allow myself to get excited about a non-football Alabama sports team like this...

LSU gonna have a rough season. That batting AVG will sink to .200 in conference with this pitching.

Yeah, I fully expect them to turn it around and finish ahead of us in the West.

In fact, as good as we’ve looked and as fun as this team is, I’m still anticipating us finishing last in the West this year.

Would be great to be wrong though.

And even if we do, we can still hit the goals.

- 13-14 conference wins
- Hoover
- NCAAT

PSA, guys. While there are indeed two pitchers competing against one another, it is not a pitcher’s dual, but a duel, like the fight of honor in the olden days.

I’m the last guy to be correcting spehling, but just letting you know before you run into a real Nazi with full-on arrogance, who’ll trip you up and laugh when you fall.

Somebody gif in “Knowing is half the battle.”

Kind of hard to tell pre-conference play but the preseason thought was Vandy, Florida, Arkansas, State, LSU and Georgia, with Auburn, A&M and Tennessee also being good.

So far Florida has been and Georgia has been pretty close. The others have been kind of up and down.

I remember back to when Alabama was awesome in baseball. Man, the late 90s were a long time ago.

Looks like a decent student turnout. The right field was incredible my sophomore year until they neutered it
