Yup. Y Star has a pathological hatred of the dude. Never, ever had a positive thing to say about Ty. He acted like Ty called his (Y Star) mother a lady of the evening on national TV and maintained his weird vendetta against him to the very end.

Would be shocking if KR is not the guy next year.

Good luck to Ty, I think some better coaching and help with his mechanics could give him a much better outlook.

I mean, its pretty clear what happened here. Ystar got a lot of shite for defending Milroe and blaming coaches, so when Ty started struggling, he flipped the script. He started projecting, using Ty as fodder. I don't think he really hates Ty or anything.

We’re in agreement on how we read it. Same way it came off to me

Nobody hates Ty. Good grief there are some soft MF'ers here.

He got called out and I think he was a lot more fair towards the end of the season

We've had two complicated QB's in a row. Milroe was Lamar Jackson from a potential standpoint who needed more time with an elite QB coach before he should've been starting in our offense. Ty was an elite midrange passer when healthy with a huge heart but who lacked touch deep and was injured all year and never really had a shot to get back to his ceiling as a result. I'm thankful for both of them while looking forward to next year with a change.

Yeah I can’t wait for the arguments. The most popular QB on any team is always the back up

Smart decision. Our current coaches will get him killed in the pocket. Plus, hell get drafted by a decent team with a good QB to learn from.

Its wild to me that people that people have already written off Mack, who ive been impressed with. Im sure once Russell is the starter, the same people will be clamoring for whoever his backup is

He never referred to Ty as a retard, or the leader of a locker room regime holding the team and coaches hostage, so there's that.

Ooooh, you got me all misty eyed. “Soft” ain’t got nothing to do with it. Just got tired of his incessant irrational ranting about Ty.

You don’t care about his ranting yet you care I point it out. Makes perfect sense.

Okay the Saban guys that the locker room loves are gone. Can you please hit the portal for a QB?

We desperately need an elite QB in 2026 that can make this passing scheme work.

Maybe it's Mack or Keelon, but these coaches have to prepare for the possibility that neither of these guys pan out.
If you go around saying that this entire offense depends on the QB, and is QB-centric, then you need to ensure you have an elite QB every year. Lane Kiffin did it at Ole Miss. Why can't DeBoer?

Clearly Ty was struggling second half the season and we now know he had a ton of injuries but I really appreciate his competitive spirit and wanting to play. He could have protected himself and pulled himself but he chose to tough it out and play until he just could not any more. I really appreciate that in a player. Now should the coaches have pulled him at some point is certainly debatable but guys who are competitors like him will never pull themselves as long as they feel like they can compete.
