I was checking out some stats on different sites & one site... cfbstats.com has Tua leading all SEC QBs rating in all games, games played at home, vs conference, vs ranked (ap), vs FBS (1A), vs games played in August/Sept.

But he's not even listed in other catagories... games played on road/neutral site; vs non-conference; vs unranked (ap); & in games played in Oct.

I asked the owner of the site why he wasn't listed in some of these, & he said he didn't have enough pass attempts; which is - Note: To qualify, player must have played in 75% of his team's games and have a minimum of 15.0 pass attempts per game played.

He told me Tua was one shy.

This doesn't hurt Tua it only feeds into his legend.

I want him to go all season (including SEC and playoffs) without having to play the 4th quarter.

Dude will be come a legend for it and Alabama will have another folk hero. Imagine what kind of recruiting tool Tua and this run will be?

Some stupid website has some random criteria that Tua is somehow not benefitting from,.....so this random stat is now somehow hurting him?

Who gives a shite? The dude balls when he is out there. You really want him out there playing (up by 30-40) in the 4th? Of course not.

Had a coach tell me years ago about how they watched Jim Brown play lacrosse once and how he could’ve been the GOAT if that had been his sport. People in lacrosse circles speak of him as this mythical figure.

The story he told me was that Brown didn’t participate in any pregame drills and showed up just as the game started. By the time the first half was over, Brown had already scored something like 6 goals and the game was well in hand. The game was just too easy for him and he looked like a man amongst a bunch of boys. Brown then left the game at halftime. Literally left the field and got in a car as the crowd gave him a standing ovation.

That’s the kind of legend I want for Tua.

You know what not being on that guy’s site means?

Absolutely nothing at all and that is how much you should worry about it.

Actually, I can say with 100% certainty that you've got this backwards.

The fact that Tua has done what he has done with such efficiency is part of it. What is he supposed to do, throw more interceptions and missed completions so he can get more time?

Dude is so good and wins the games on offense so quickly - he doesn't even register in some of the records. That's fricking awesome!

Everyone is noticing these things and everyone is quite amazed.

Well, shite, we better alter our game plan and season goals to qualify for Marty's complete ratings chart.

Thanks for posting Jatebe.

Drew Lock has 96 more passes, 8 yards less, 7 TDs less and 4 INTs more.

Guys,

Piling on Jatebe for this is a bit over the top. She brings a lot of stuff to the board that many find interesting. I think she’s asking a legitimate question. Not every Heisman voter watches every Bama game and many get stats from sites like this.

While I don’t think it will ultimately doom his campaign, if this trend continues it will be a talking point the talking heads will discuss.

Definitely. For better or for worse. I mean the Media has 870 votes. 145 from each region. You always have homers and dumbasses in those regions and folks who don't watch games that shouldn't have a right to vote. Just like folks who vote in the AP Poll.

However, at the end of the day. Tua has great stats for a number of categories (Yards + TD + INTs + Completion %)

LOL - Everyone knows Tua racked up those stats by basically playing 2 quarters of football per game on average. If they can't understand that, they are too fricking stupid to vote.....or just some douche from up north who hates Bama anyway. Who gives a shite.

If you guys will notice on the screenshot I posted, I "LOL" at him because Tua didn't have enough attempts to qualify.

I found it amazing that we're halfway through the regular season & Tua is topping all the other QBs with the amount of time he has played, and leading the heisman race.

Most of the time, it's the backups that don't have the attempts to qualify, Tua is the starting QB and has the game put away before the half.

Like YStar said, it only feeds into his legend.

& to the person who said I was lame to contact the site owner... frick you. I was interested in Tua's stats & wondered why he was listed in some that I knew he should be leading in. If you don't like what I post, don't read them.
