Everybody apparently can benefit from the image, name or likeness of a player.... except the player and his family.
Fantastically corrupt.

There's a vast amount of individuals with a racehorse named after them who've never gotten compensation, if anyone has ever at all. This is just a silly fight to pick.

I'm not mad at the action or the owner of the horse. In fact that's a pretty nice thing to happen.
Just pointing out the overall picture of NCAA "guidelines" pretty being corrupt.

No one in this story is benefiting from Tua's image, name or likeness.

They named a fricking horse after him. You think that is going to make the horse run faster?

Tua2&26.
Seems better to me but then I am not a racehorse.

On the topic of Tua's name being used. This morning on Sports Center, they referred to Steph Curry being Tua-esq while scoring 51 points in 3 quarters.

The owner of the horse is getting free publicity.
That is a benefit of naming his horse after Tua.
The fact I needed to explain that is just lol.

Why don't you try naming your horse "Don Henley" and see what happens.

You think owners of racehorses benefit from free publicity? They benefit from their horses winning, nothing more.

It looks like this person has done it, possibly twice.
