I still stick by that about Van Dyke. I mean that. Mario and Gattis screwed Van Dyke this past season. Van Dyke can play.
Well then I think the rest of us still stand by saying that Van Dyke > Bryce is nuts.
Pennix was a stud and DeBoer/Grubb did an awesome job with the system around him. Would be ecstatic if we lured him away.

When I drop my nuts and comment it's coming after I've given much thought. A lot of you guys don't even watch college football outside of Bama football and the ignorance is noticeable. And, even more of you guys are highly emotional. It's hard to talk to some of you.

When you drop them and tell an Alabama board that their returning Heisman trophy winning QB has a noodle arm, you gonna get some crazy at you. (lots of nuts talk in this thread)

Oh, alright. The rest of us apparently just vomit out whatever pops into our brains, I guess.

Oh, good, more of this

Yes, you can be when people disagree with you. We can bring back the receipts if you want.

Most complete team in the playoff.
You should watch more college football and do less nut dropping IMHO

New update on BOL saying that two sources familiar with the Washington program indicated that UW was not happy Grubb was making the trip to Tuscaloosa. One of the sources said the expectation is Grubb will take the job if he gets the offer. Again, that is speculation, but it’s educated speculation from someone familiar with Grubb and the situation. We are not aware of an offer up to this point, but there are obviously some serious discussions going on.

based on the latest info coming from BOL that I posted above, sounds more and more like Grubbs might just be the guy.

I'm curious how he feels about running our offense and just adding his wrinkles.
Hell, I'm curious about this with every DC/OC candidate. How many of these guys want to run their own defense/offense and how many are comfortable trying to mold their styles to an existing playbook?

Feels like the next OC could get the opportunity to a Kiffin level revamp.

I mean, I'm assuming he is currently running DeBoer's offense.

this popped into my mind as well. it would be awkward telling a 2 million dollar guy not to run the stuff that got him there

We told a NFL HC and play caller of the Pats to use our terminology and playbook. If Saban felt it was awkward, then it would've been more awkward to do it to BOB than Grubbs.

Grubb won't run what's at Washington because Penix is experienced and his arm/accuracy is insane. We will be teaching a young QB.
