“Ole Miss had Vasoline all over them and Kiffin was stealing our plays”. —- probable excuse

I knew we were in trouble after play A... no adjustments were going to matter at that point

Also, is it bad that I was horribly angry at our players when they celebrated after getting garbage sacks? I mean like serious dog cussing angry

No. They had nothing to celebrate. Especially Allen. He played like fricking shite.

I don't remember the situation, but OM rolls out trips left with a running back.

Our entire defense is shifted so that there are TWO OM linemen outside of our only possible contain defender on the right.

Before the snap, I said they're running to the right for a TD. It didn't score but it went for 20 or more.

Even if it wasn't a called run, Ray Charles would have audibled into one and yet we never shifted, didn't call a TO, nothing. Just stood there and watched it happen.

That's when I knew we were clueless.

I said inappropriate things when Barmore almost got a penalty for being a dip shite near the end of the game.

First play of the 3rd quarter when we came back and Pete Golding was still on staff.

That was when I broke.

Almost half of the defensive plays. I just don’t understand. They done seem to get that fired up. It’s like they would have 2 great downs and then let them take off for 20 yds. Do they just not FEEL like running after the other guys?

I wasn’t quite to the point of yelling at the TV yet for A.

B could have realistically been measured as a small earthquake at my house.

Each time we had Corral bottled up in the backfield but barely touched him. He’s an athlete but we made him look like Lamar Jackson

Really hard to pick.

At some point I realized that we just don't have any playmakers, or "dogs," on defense. Will Anderson is the only one that really stands out at all.

I can confidently say, as we all can I'm sure, that that was the poorest defensive showing since Saban has been at Alabama. And I don't think that it's really even remotely close.

This may sound strange, but I was really broken by watching Ole Miss give up on 1st and 2nd by running dumb plays up the middle, only to force 3rd and long.
It's as if that's where they wanted to be, because they knew our 3rd down defense is horrible.

I understand the hate sent Pete's way since he is the DC but I am just as disappointed in Sal and Charles Kelly for their part in the clusterfuk along with one Nick Saban and Karl Scott. I assume Scott is retained due to recruiting success and that is the only reason he has a slot. Giving Roach some rope since he is new. There isn't one position out of 11 that is promising. That is odd.

Oh and Moses is without a doubt the most overrated LBer in the country. He looks like Tarzan but plays like Jane.

Also - who else was just waiting for Ole Miss to be down 56-49 with less a minute left, score a TD, and get a 2PT conversion to win the game?

Because I had fully prepared myself for it.

Ben Davis earned that scholly with that onside kick recover. I believe #42 actually knocked it loose from the kicker but Jack Daniel's was ovah at the house so I could be wrong.

That was 110% going to be how we lost the game until our defensive MVP, the Ole Miss center, got another stop with a bad snap and Lane made the mistake of not going for it on 4th and 12.

I would send a message by benching the entire 1st team D for the first series against UGA. I don’t give a damn if they scored as long as the 2’s were busting their arse and getting after it. That effort last night will not cut it nor will it be tolerated.

Once I realized the OM offense no longer needed to scheme anyone open, or block anyone, or even execute their offense - they could simply hike the ball to anyone (probably take some of their fans out of the stands) and then proceed to play backyard ball and run around in circles for first downs or TD's or whatever that's when I snapped.

I guess that broken play where their QB turned around to hand the ball off realized he was all by himself, and then calmly ran around tackle for seven or so yards before anyone from Bama D showed up. I guess that's a good enough example.

On another play I saw their RB pause for a moment trying to figure out which enormous hole to run through because no shite there were TWO holes at least 8 yards wide on both sides of their fricken center. I have no idea how that's even possible, but I saw it with my own eyes. It was as if Bama had three defenders on the entire field.

That's why at one point in the game Kiffin slowed their tempo down because he knew they were going to score too fast. Idiot announcers sitting there saying "why are they slowing down?" I'm in my living room like, "eh, well, they've scored five TD's n the last 27 seconds... they are scoring so fast its killing their defense.

Yeah, it was obvious first turnover was going to lose the game because neither defense was going to get a stop. Thank goodness for Mac Jones. That dude is a stone cold baller.
