OK, there are two choices and you HAVE to choose one or the other. Alabama using one of these in 1-2 games per year:

White helmets with the red stripe and red numbers.

OR

Crimson helmets but the crimson is a matte finish.

If you absolutely had to choose, which would you choose?

I would love to see us wear white helmets every now and then.

Absolutely the white helmets. I will never understand the hatred of them by some fans. Those white helmets worn a few times when Perkins coached in the 1980s were very cool.

And the current red uniforms and helmets are nowhere close to true crimson that Alabama wore in the 70s and 80s. Bama is the Crimson Tide, not the Red Tide. Just ask Steely Dan.

Surprising everyone with the white helmets for LSU would be cool.

100% white helmets. They are a traditional look for Bama. I don't really know why so many casual fans are opposed to them. Bear Bryant teams wore them

Agreed. Lots of fans don't realize that and always scream "tradition" as the reason not to change anything. In fairness, my memory is that Perkins wanted to wear them against a team like Mississippi State to make it easier for the QB to distinguish Alabama's receivers from the opponent. But I could be wrong.

At any rate, I think wearing the white helmets should be standard for us when wearing the white road uniforms. I'm NOT in favor of going full Oregon retard on the uniform gimmicks, though. NEVER!

Deboer would be crucified on this board if he did that and lost. I think Bama is still quite a few years away from ever trying the "blackout/whiteout" uniform thing as a gimmick to get people excited.

This, but I wouldn't be happy about it.

Realistically, this is a topic that isn't a real-life issue. I seriously doubt the old guard would allow it.

I’d rather just tell the fans once a year to wear white. You cannot tell me that it wouldn’t look amazing

I kind of have to laugh at all the down votes. It's just a hypothetical and would probably never happen. It's not like I called people's mothers a whore or anything.

If we are gonna go wild on a uniform change, the only acceptable version is to do a retro version of the 1925 uniform next year to commemorate 100 of our first NC.

I think that would be very sharp

White Helmets on the road. Make it so!! The kids would love it. Tennessee is wearing all black this Saturday. The reveal on social media was epic. It is the wave of the future...... We could also wear some all gray or all crimson.

They're not, it's just become an echo chamber at this point. HurDur we're the tahd, we don't need no gimmicks. They have no idea that white helmets are part of our traditional uniform.

White helmets but ONLY on the road. White helmets with crimson jerseys looks little league.

No, no, no! This is how it starts. Folks won’t be happy with just white helmets. Next, red pants, then all red, then the God forsaken all black or primer gray.

Gotta go with a no vote. Sorry, fellas. Don't fix it if it's perfect.

I do be liking the modern physical design/aesthetic.
