Did she throw anything off speed very well?

Italy was so overwhelmed vs the FB. It was hard to tell if she threw off speed. UW coach is HC and UCF coach appears to be pitching coach and UF coach is the third base coach.

I hope someone has been working with her on off speed as this is a perfect time away from Murph to work. Monica Abbot is pitcher one and another girl appears to be number 2. She had the Italian girls off first 4 innings of the game Fouts came in for relief

Abbot had the same affect on Chinese Taipei and as I was leaving USA was warming up a new pitcher. I think it was the lady who was so good for James Madison from two years ago CWS

Broker you hit on something for me. You said team USA struggled scoring runs in the Olympics, and had a void of power among their players. That fact is why I was dumbfounded why they did not put Hemphill on that team. She was a better power hitter than anyone they had on that team.

Fouts appears to be pitcher number 3 with team USA. Ally Cardre former UCLA is 2 with Abbott 1. Won the world games with a 3-2 win. Both Abbott and Cadre had pitched and Fouts was warming up in the seventh with Cadre closed it out. So Fouts is there to stay and hopefully she is being taught an out pitch. From the two games I was at it looks like the umps behind the home plate were giving the pitchers the benefit on those corner pitches. All 3 are tall long legged pitchers which seems to be a winning combo at high level fast pitch SB

a good sign perhaps? She is the current pitching coach after 4 years who has not developed a good change up for Fouts.

I gotta feeling that this move was initiated by Bama.

Murphy and the barking seal do such a lousy job with the hitters, they might as well further screw up the pitchers.

Perhaps a sign that the PTB want to see something done to change things instead of Uncle Pat sitting on his complacent, entitled arse.

For fricks sake! Arkansas won the Sec. Bama didn’t make it out of the regionals. Pitching was not the issue. Hitting was and will be the issue until his arse gets fired.

I hope these transfers coming in can hit for power . Was envious watching Arky and OU games on tv with nearly every hitter having power potential
