So nice they've "adjusted to better reflect market value" on the season ticket costs. Again.

They didn’t raise the price on the club seats, so I’m good. Just letting y’all know.

It's not so much about the ticket prices; but Tide Pride has gone up tremendously. My donation has tripled.

Wasn’t surprised it went up, but cha-ching.

I shudder to think what the basketball TP letter is going to be this summer

Like Bear said, “The price of victory is high…”

Gotta pay for that new facility everyone keeps demanding.

They better get it while they can. We are nearing the end of the Saban tenure and have nowhere to go but down. I hope we do a good job with CNS replacement (when that time comes).

There have been studies for the past decade where CFB as a whole has experienced fan loss AIS (arse in seats). We have managed to avoid that, but it is catching up.

Hell I have been a Tide Pride member for 21 years. The only reason I still buy tickets is to take my dad. As long as he is physically able. I'll take him.

I'm an alum (paid my own way) and paying to send a child there now... I'd gladly pay 2700 for the year... I'm paying 2500 a month. Can't even get season tickets. I don't want to hear any complaining...

You might want to call and confirm they have you on the waitlist - this past season they offered existing Tide Pride members the chance to purchase additional season tickets (which I interpreted to mean they had not sold out). You should get a chance this upcoming season for sure.

The waiting list is extremely short when it required you to pay to be on it

That might have been the most insulting thing they've ever done to fans.

Well hell. Saw this thread and expected to see an email this morning. No dice. Logged in to my account and have no renewal application available. Unless something changes I guess almost 70 years of season tickets is coming to an end.

Edit: Checked renewal history and I typically don't get a notice until March.

Just an email notice of upcoming changes has been sent. Nothing on our accounts yet until Feb 1st. Giving 6 months to pay this year - read to me like tickets and Tide Pride due at the same time.

We are writing today to inform you of changes to TIDE PRIDE and season ticket pricing for the 2023 Alabama Football season. As you might know, historically, TIDE PRIDE contribution amounts are adjusted approximately every five years and the last changes were implemented in 2017.

Over the last few months, we have conducted an extensive market analysis and as a result of this review, adjustments have been made to season ticket pricing, TIDE PRIDE contribution amounts, and our TIDE PRIDE naming convention.

* Season Ticket Prices: Season tickets for premium seating (Skyboxes, Loge Boxes, Ivory Club, Champions Club, Terrace Club, North & South Zone, and North & South Field Suites) will remain unchanged at $550. All other TIDE PRIDE season tickets will be $450.
* TIDE PRIDE Contribution Amounts: Some TIDE PRIDE contribution amounts were adjusted to better reflect market value. As such, TIDE PRIDE contribution amounts will increase in some seating areas, decrease in others, and remain unchanged in a few sections.
* TIDE PRIDE Naming Convention: With the exception of premium seating and Scholarship Club, TIDE PRIDE seating areas will be identified using a tier system.
There will be no changes to parking eligibility. TIDE PRIDE members with premium seating and seating in the Scholarship Club and Tiers 1 & 2 (formerly Crimson Tide Club) will continue to receive complimentary TIDE PRIDE season parking.

The Alabama Football TIDE PRIDE and season ticket renewal period will begin one month earlier on February 1. With the earlier launch date, should you choose to take advantage of the bill plan option, you can spread your TIDE PRIDE and season ticket payments across up to six monthly installments with the initial charge at the time of renewal and subsequent charges on March 1, April 3, May 1, June 1, and July 3.

We thank you for your continued support as an Alabama Football TIDE PRIDE member, and we look forward to seeing you back at Bryant-Denny Stadium next season for an exciting seven-game home schedule that includes matchups with Texas, Tennessee, and LSU.

Interesting take. I have also been a Tide Pride member for @21 years. It has been a good ride. Three different sets of fans, that were UA grads, sat around us and got to to see their kids grow up and graduate from High School and college. And have made many other friends. The main thing we notice now is the same friends still have the tickets but very seldom come anymore. Grand kids and other events and the kids are to busy with youth sports. But they are making money each year sellimg them individually on Stub Hub. It will be interesting how this works out.

Based on last few years. You have to hope for one big game a year to happen to break even. Granted that's the games I always go to, so that's not a big deal to me.

That being said the small games you can barely sell. I used to give these away to family members but no one wants them anymore. So just sell at a loss on StubHub.

With the price increases, anyone trying to turn a profit probably going to be out of it.
