We contacted Santa Clara transfer G Carlos Stewart along with a lot of other schools. 6'1". Here's the link to his stats.

He's good. I hope we can get him on campus for sure.
Super quick with a Trevor Lacey type shot release.

I really want at least one coaching hire announced like today

I’m all in for Carlos Stewart. He would instantly give us something we need with his penetration ability. True ball handler and a good shooter. He reminds of the former Auburn point guard Harper. Looks like he can get to the foul line at will also.

Is Pringle going to be a senior next season, or does he have a covid year?
Pringle and Sears both have two more years, one of those years a covid year. If we return those two plus JQ, Bediako, and Griffin, we have a real solid core returning 5. Add Cosby, who has been here a semester, and Walton, if he qualifies for the transfer, plus freshmen Walters, Parker, and Dioubate, and we have five more solid players with roon to add a couple from the portal.

Latest NBA Draft Projections for Brandon Miller, Noah Clowney (SI)
Miller teaming up with a former Auburn star? Clowney joining a former Alabama great out West?

Is there any timeline on this? I know stupid question to ask since it involves the NCAA but I would hate to keep missing out on Wings and then it turns out Walton has to sit.

I still don't understand how Walton going D1 -> JuCo -> D1 -> D1 would result in a situation where he needs a special waiver to be eligible to play next season.

He needs to graduate and he will on time .

Brandon Miller moves up from No. 3 to No. 2 in ESPN’s newest mock draft. Noah Clowney makes a big jump since ESPN’s last mock March 9, rising from No. 28 to No. 16.

Not a surprise, but no Alabama players are projected by ESPN in the second round — that after Charles Bediako, Jahvon Quinerly and Mark Sears all entered their names in the draft.

Bediako would've probably gone 2nd round in the old NBA. Centers are just so undervalued nowadays. Especially without solid low post scoring.
Sears and Quin are both smaller, with Sears being limited athletically. Quin is too turnover prone and can't handle physicality. Sears needs to improve running an offense at point. I think either could have a good career overseas. But I don't see either getting drafted yet.

Quinerly turns 25 this November. At what point will he be ready?

Not sure these are in order but here are some posted quotes from Pettway’s introductory press conference earlier today. A walk down Bama Basketball memory lane
quote:
"To Nate Oats, I've learned so much from you. Everyone knows about his coaching ability but what many don't see is how he treats everybody inside the program - super good. He makes everybody feel appreciated & makes them better every time he's around them.
Everybody he's around, everyone he touches, he makes them better and I was no different. I am a better coach and a better man because of the 4 years I got to spend with Nate Oats."
"To Anthony Grant, I know you're watching, thank you for being the best mentor I could have ever asked for. You have had a huge impact on my life as a coach and as a man. You and your family are my family."
"To the amazing coaches I've worked with - John Pelphrey, Dan Hispher, Phil Pearson, Yasir Rosemond, Charlie Henry, Bryan Hodgson, Scott Pospichal, Reggie Witherspoon, many others - Thank you for not only being co-workers but for being brothers & uncles to my family."
"I want to thank Coach Avery Johnson for showing me how to think about a basketball program on a bigger stage. Your NBA experience allowed me to see things through a different lens and I appreciate the lessons I learned from you."
"I would like to thank Mark Gottfried first. If it wasnt for him believing in this skinny walk-on from Alberta, AL. He gave me the opportunity to play. Not only did he believe in me as a player, he also hired me back at my alma mater."
- Antoine Pettway
