Ware hasnt listed us in the schools that has contacted him and I have a hard time believing we would be recruiting another center when we already have Bediako and Pringle.

One would play the 4 and take Clowney's spot.

Ware skill set is very similar to Clowney's.

Ware can play the 4 because he can shoot. That would also give us 2 7 footers on defense which would we amazing

Stuff on Twitter that Ware can be difficult and tough to coach.

I’m wearing my SEC tournament champs shirt today and identifying as an Alabama who gets to watch Alabama play in the Final Four tonight.

Pain.

I win both my bracket groups if UConn wins tonight, so I'll be pulling for them this weekend.

How many college teams in 2023 can you name that play two 7 feet guys at once regularly? There are reasons for that.

Our S&C coach Henry Barrara hit em with the April Fools joke that he was leaving Bama to go to the NBA. Posted it on twitter and after all our reporters retweeted him he said april fools.

There are actually 2 very important reasons for that.

Reason 1: There simply aren't a lot of 7-footers in college basketball period, especially ones that move well. Much less having 2 of them on the same team.

Reason 2: And of that extremely small collection of players, 95+% of them can't stretch the floor, and you simply can't have that spacing problem in today's game.

The problem isn't that 2 7-footers don't work well on the floor together, but that 2 slow-footed or non-shooting bigs (something common in ALMOST all 7-footers) don't work well together. Ware has more than enough shooting and movement ability to make a pairing with Bediako work.

I don't see what it matters. He's only a couple inches taller than Clowney. If they (he and Clowney) have similar skill sets (not saying the exact same), play two 7 footers.

Also on defense you can only have one guy down there protecting the rim or youre gonna clog everything up and have a shooter on the perimeter wide open all the time, so one of your 7 footers would have to guard someone on the perimeter who will probably be a lot quicker than they are.

A smart coach would put a fast 6’5 or 6’6 at the 4 in that situation who would abuse the 7 footer off the dribble every time.

Duke was 18-2 playing both 7 footers.

They play a much different style than us. Id love to see us play two 7 footers at the same time in our up tempo modern system. That would be a hilarious disaster.

The 2 inch height difference with Clowney is not a big deal. As has been stated the athleticism is what matters
