Those are the worst fans. The really dumb ones.

I go back and forth from an optimist and a heartbroken shell. It's tough being an Alabama basketball fan and I know a lot of yall have been suffering a lot longer than me. The first time I remember Alabama basketball breaking my heart was Ronald Steele getting hurt. He was the best basketball player I had seen that was my same age. He was a really nice guy too. Before that I didn't know the pain. Pettway made me fall in love back when he had those red shoes.

You don’t want Justin Powell.

Besides, this will be his 7th different team in 7 years dating back to high school.

That’s a stat I have never seen before.

NO MORE DISCUSSION ON JQ. HE CANNOT FOCUS ON HIMSELF IF THERE’S SPECULATION.

I always pictured saban n bear as a hard-R Appalachian speaker instead of the Foghorn Leghorn type. He probably sticks the landing real hard on those R’s

He was on twitter arguing with a well known 18-year old troll the other day and was getting owned I couldn’t help but laugh

He’s basically just here to rehab. We won’t see him next season in my opinion……. Bookmark this, I hope that I’m wrong

Of the roughly 1,000 players still available in the transfer portal, 529 of those averaged less than 3.0 PPG or did not register any statistics this past season.

I think at some point in the next ~5 years or so a lot of the athlete empowerment dipshits who fully support it now are going to start to come to terms with the fact that the portal + 1 time no questions asked eligibility waiver wasn't such a good idea. I'm surprised there hasn't already been more made of the fact that so many kids go into the portal after a year or two of college, never catch on anywhere, and that's just the end for them.

People want to act and then think/react later. Give it a full 4 years and I think we're going to hear a lot more complaints about the portal. There are obviously a lot of benefits but I still think we're a few adjustments away from it being a good and fair system.

I like that it streamlines things for kids who go through a coaching change, struggle to deal with things like homesickness, etc., but I hate how no one ever asked themselves "how will coaches exploit this?" Because the answer to that question was always obvious, and we're seeing it already. If you're recruited to a competitive program you have a year, maybe two at the absolute most, to prove yourself or you're going to be replaced by someone who has proven himself elsewhere. So those kids who need some development get run off, but they don't have any D1 film. They're having to hang their hats on what they did in high school while competing for roster spots with a lot of guys who can hang their hats on what they have done in college.

Stop it, if you’re a d1 level player you’ll play at the d1 level. If it weeds out the bums so be it

I think the one time transfer without having to sit a year is a good idea and should be permanent. I also think that if your HC is fired, you should also be able to transfer without having to sit a year even if you’ve already used your one time transfer.

Charlie Henry is there.

This. Exactly. The NCAA or whoever ends up in charge of these rules really needs to stick to no free free second transfer except if, as stated above, the coach leaves.

Do you know if a visit with him is already set up? I know he is visiting Arkansas this Summer.

I find it really weird it's been almost two full days since he reached town and there isn't a single update.

Hank said yesterday he was working on getting in touch with Lucas but that was his last post about it.

If this was a football transfer visiting we would know how the visit went, what he ate for dinner, who he talked to, his blood type, his top 5 Martin Scorsese movies, what Mrs. Terry told his family about living here, and his opinion on Elon Musk buying twitter.
