I understand where you're coming from but an Achilles injury doesn't take that long to recover from nowadays.

Entirely to much technology out now! Heck ACL injuries don't even take long anymore.

Amari Allen already informed fans...Latrell Wrightsell Jr. is ready right NOW!

That lineup could be ELITE on both ends of the floor!

Bol Bowen could be one of the best in the SEC...his potential is off the charts.

Wonder if Sears or Nelson sneaks into 2nd round tonight?

They didn’t, but Mark, Grant, and Cliff will get hired to play basketball either here in the G League or overseas where there are many opportunities to play basketball. On our staff, we have Erwin Dudley who played 14 years in Turkey and made lots of money. Same with Richard Hendrix broadcasting many of our men’s and women’s games through ESPN/ SEC tv, having played 13 years in Spain, Italy, Israel, Serbia, and Japan. There are many hoops opportunities.

Grant signed a two-way contract with the Nets, and Cliff signed an Exhibit 10 with the Raptors. LINK

Summer league starts July 10 for anyone who wants to continue watching these guys.

I will be curious to see if Grant can stick. He can give NBA 4s some issues with his offensive skills and he is a good 3/4 cover guy and help defender. But that jump shot may be the death of him at the pro level. I can't really imagine it gets any prettier if he attempts mid range either. Hope he and Sears can find a path.

Grant has a path to playing this fall. Brooklyn isn't exactly a good team. Lot of jokes on that team..

Mark probably will end up in G league

Cliff ends up over sea.

I wouldn't be surprised if Grant Nelson is the guy who sticks in the NBA from this group of seniors. He's not a starter caliber big in the NBA. However I think he's a bit of polish on his jumper - getting his corner 3 makes up a bit - from being a decent 3-and-D bench forward.

becoming a better shooter will make or break him as a role player imo. his shot is honestly pretty ugly and he shoots it at a pretty low percentage. if he can figure out a way to hit some corner threes efficiently, i could absolutely stick see him sticking. if he doesn't, i struggle to see it, especially given his defensive limitations athletically.

he shoots a set shot and has got a long awkward load phase to his shooting motion that pro defenders are going to eat alive. even sec defenders did. he's got to learn to quicken up his load and release. not many his size are able to do it. it's possible though.

3-and-D? not sure i see it yet. pulling for him tho.

I'm not really saying that is his game based on the tape but Naz Reid wasn't really showing that off either at LSU. It's his job now, so he got a whole work week to grind on his shooting mechanics.

Nelson has zero limitations athletically.

His pre-season dunk contest attempt confirms this. I don’t even remember what he tried to do, but I remember thinking he was so close to making it and would have been contest over.

Athleticism wasn’t his issue, coordination/handles and shooting were.
