We have such a solid class signed already. We just need one more big get to round out the class.

Seems like we might have dodged a bullet, as good of a player as he is. Kid is already talking preferred NBA teams while he's still in high school, his dad also has an opinion on the matter, and he isn't even a decent enough person to tell other coaches that they're wasting their time because he has already signed. I'm betting dad didn't pay for his own ticket to the Vegas tournament or the game in Chapel Hill either.

We could have used his talent - but not his attitude. He spent the only part of his interview I saw with Stephen A Smith talking about the pro teams he was interested in. Did he say what he liked about BYU (other than the $7 mil? Stephen A Smith asked his why he didn't go to UNC or Duke because they are in a great basketball conference. Huh? Did Stephen A even know about the 14-2 beat down the SEC just put on the ACC? With a $6 mil NIL budget, we will spend money better on a good transfer. The freshman at Rutgers this year, Bailey and Harper, are projected 2nd and 3rd in the '25 draft, but they do not have a great supporting cast. We beat them with a good overall team. I hope we never spend $7 mil on one recruit.

I’m glad this kid and his father seem like arseholes so I don’t have to feel disappointed and can instead just plan on rooting against them next year! Arrogant and dishonest makes me glad he’s not coming in a way.

The Cavs let him out of a contract bc both parties agreed to doing a new one that would compensate him for a great season. Once that happened, he jumped to Jazz for a bigger paycheck. Total scumbag move.

That was a nice win, withstood the comeback there at the end. Every day I think the SEC's OOC performance can't get any more absurd, and every day I'm proven wrong.

There are a couple more top guys we're looking at in this class, if we miss out on them it's better to save the rest of the NIL bankroll for the transfer portal.

Missing out on AJ sucks but the BYU offer was so big it would be hard for anyone to turn that down. Definitely stings but after finding out how him and his family carried out his recruitment down the stretch, he should be easy to pull against without it sounding like too much cope.

Now Dybansta business advisor is blatantly lying saying us and UNC offered the same NIL as BYU.

Our whole fkn team last year was under $1M and this years is only about $3M. Zero fricking chance we offered $5M for 1 recruit

I doubt anybody offered him 5 mil. I think most of the numbers thrown around on the internet are bullshite. There's never any real source, just people sharing wild numbers.

It had to have been a significant number for him to be a BYU lean from start to finish.
