With Reid you see glimpses of being a boss... Just hopeful it translates to our system, which I have slight reservations about.

That gym sounded INSANELY loud on TV, but if I ever have to watch a Big 10 basketball game on Peacock again, I will conscientiously object

Quick note from the NBA:
Keon Ellis chipped in 33 points (9-17 FG, 9-15 3Pt, 6-7 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 33 minutes during Monday's 109-108 loss to the Hawks.
Spin: Ellis pulverized his previous career-high scoring mark and looked impressive off the bench in this game despite the fact the Kings suffered a one-point defeat. This performance came out of nowhere, though, as Ellis was averaging just 5.9 points per game since the beginning of November entering Monday's eight-game slate.

If tweet fails to load, click here. At least Nate knows when he fricks up and Owns it. I was screaming at my TV Friday to put Sherrill back in when it was obvious Grant couldn’t guard that guy

I recall the big center (or his backup) worked Sherrell pretty well too when he came in.
However, this early in the season, you did need to play Sherrell a bit more in that situation so he can learn by fire.

Yeah but Sherrill had the potential to Guard him where Grant had no chance. At the very least at least Sherrill is getting reps

Correct it’s insane he’s shooting 72% from three right now.

Purdue getting their arse kicked at Marquette. Can’t shoot, turning the ball over in terrible fashion, and can’t guard.
Life on the road is tough.

We made Pudue look better than they were. Our games against McNeese and Arkansas State showed we are having some offensive issues. Our problem is honestly stemming from our all American point guard. As great of a player as he is he’s having a hard time running the offense due to teams putting a taller guard on him. That is slowing down his ability to penetrate and effecting his processing. Our offense is basically a run and gun and Sears is slowing down and it’s causing a trainwreck offensively. I hope we see Sears in more of an off ball role and let Philon be the facilitator. Sears having some open threes will be good for his confidence.

Agree that Sears is off to a slow start. His shot is not falling right now. He will get it figured out.

What do you think is bothering his game right about now?

He's never been a point guard. He's a two pure and simple. Run things to get him open with a good look.. Hes good going to the basket when its there but he forces it too much and will turn it over.,
If Oats wants to win tonight, he starts Reid instead of Stevenson and goes small with three guards when Philon is in.

Tonight is a big one! Man I hope we put it all together and start rolling. Excited to see how the team responds after a tough one in the road.

I agree. Philon is a true point guard.

Basically its between Bama and BYU for Dybantsa with BYU still holding a slim edge. Also says Bama is closing the gap and him to BYU isn't a done deal anymore and Bama has a legit chance
Also between Bama and Louisville for Mikel Brown Jr. and that its too close to call
