Manti (Utah) Utah Prep School Five-Star Plus+ small forward AJ Dybantsa is getting ready to hit the road to check out top programs around the country, he told ESPN’s Paul Biancardi.

Between Aug. 30 and Oct. 13, Dybantsa will take official visits to six different schools. He will take trips to Kansas State (Aug. 30), Kansas (Sept. 6), North Carolina (Sept. 20), Alabama (Sept. 27), Baylor (Oct. 4) and BYU (Oct. 11).

Dybantsa narrowed his list to those six schools, plus Auburn, earlier this month.

I mean it is basically just an adult daycare for college aged people whose parents didn't hug them enough.

Of course AJ is coming for the Georgia weekend. I bet a lot of recruits are trying to visit that weekend.

Season tix are secured and I requested a section upgrade, but I'm guessing there's a pretty slim chance of that happening coming off a final four run.

Honestly I hope we start off the con schedule with a home game - been on the road the last two seasons (State and Vandy).

Also hope they don't give us an opening game at @ Texas/Oklahoma. Just yuck

I'm guessing conference play begins early December?

We do not want early home conference games. Attendance is way down when students aren’t back yet and the time between Christmas and NYE can be tough to travel for some.

Let’s play on the road early.

Agreed. I'd rather play more of out most difficult games early and have a couple easier home games coming down the stretch.

No, it's early January. I think we had 1 late December game last year.

The McNeese game has no reason not to be packed. Besides the obvious, they are good too.

I was just curious with the addition of texas and oklahoma coming into conference. You're probably right.

The B12/ SEC Challenge with a game in late January had pushed everybody back to starting with a late December conference game. But last year we opened with Vandy on the road January 6 because now with the change to ACC/ SEC challenge, we play that game in the fall. I still hope we open on the road because I can’t see us opening conference play Wednesday Jan 1, and students definitely won’t be back by that weekend.

Less than 2 weeks from kickoff and I'm most excited for the release of conference schedule in basketball. With all due respect the the FoGs, I'm glad I'm not one.

I saw that Jasper Johnson should be announcing a commitment next week. I’ve seen trolls from Bama, UK, and UNC on Twitter all claiming they are landing him.
