He had Herb Jones, JP, Primo, Reese, & Bruner...those guys were bought in! They HATED LOSING! They also had the right LEADERS.

A&m is mediocre and the fact we lost at home in a blowout says a lot about this team. Will be one and done in tournament depending on the draw. No way they string two wins together against good teams.

What’s worrying me right now is that you could teach 5 of us to play fundamental defense and box out. Yea they’d suck but at least they’d do things right. We seem to exasperate our issues

Bro, you don't have the right LEADERS. I will encourage Shack & JQ to look for other opportunities after this season that's just me.

I don't really think there's an adjustment we could have made to replace two unexpected losses like that. Burnett especially. He was going to be the only big, defense oriented guard on this roster. We desperately need a player like that.

LOL absolutely. I honestly don't have any idea what we'll do in the tournament. So many things are variables for this bunch that it's nearly impossible to have any clue.

It really just depends on our draw, based off your list of teams, we seem to be screwed if the opposing Guards can break down our guys.

We guarded Kentucky at home pretty good if I am not mistaken but I catch your drift. That's why I think the biggest missing piece of the puzzle is Nick Pringle. Everybody speaks so highly of the other recruits which they are good but that dude could be absolutely sick for us.

Yea I meant more of the overall game. We just haven't been very good (comparatively) the last few years against teams that can dominate tempo and get to the rim. Even last year we had some issues with it (Mizzou, Oklahoma, State, Iona, UCLA).

Tournament always depends on draw and luck... Several have pointed out that this roster is limited in the makeup compared to what oats anticipated originally. This team is sweet 16 capable , which would be an accomplishment

Shack and JQ suppose to have a champions type level approach and they haven't. They have been a major step down from where we were last season which is kind a understandable but I expected them to be a lot better than what they are.

Shack, JQ, and JD can’t play defense but play 33,34,30 minutes…..that means long stretches with them 3 on the floor together. That’s an awful defensive lineup.Them 3 should never be in the floor together. 2 of them sure.
Holt plays 1 minute, Gary plays 6 minutes, and Miles plays 16….Oats has gotta play all them more. I don’t care if they aren’t great on offense

Miles has kind of been a disaster the last 2 weeks.

Just got home and saw the final. 87 points to A&M. Lol. Should have stopped at Arby’s on the way home.
