My dream scenario:
Beat Auburn in the SECT. Beat them again in the NCAAT to move our record to 2-2 against their “greatest team ever”. Then when we win the national title a couple games later, Auburn will be an afterthought and no one will remember a single thing about their season

Aub fans will melt if they lose tonight. I don't see it happening but that's win-win game for us. MSU loses, we stay ahead of them in the standings, Aub loses, no way they win the conference alone.

I was thinking a similar thing looking at Lunardi's NCAA projected field. We have a lot better record against the 1-8 seeds than the 9-16 seeds.

We re not gonna face a "bad" team the rest of the year other than next thurs. I think the "we can lose to anybody" theory has gone by the wayside due to how weve played lately. Im thankful we have broken that february collapse pattern that used to drive all of us crazy

Oakland won by double digits last night and still dropped several NET spots making them our only Q4 game. They are now at 165 and we need them to end at 160 or above to be Q3. Hoping they can find a way on Thursday to win on the road in the 2nd round of their conf tourney.
I feel pretty good about a win tonight, Coleman shooting not withstanding. Team seems to be hitting a level of confidence & effort that breeds winning the games you should for the past several games. Not saying that there won’t be sloppy moments or that the game won’t be close down the stretch, but I think our guys are seasoned enough to fight it out to get the win at home. Roll Tide!

I'll just be honest - outside of losing to somebody terrible or Auburn for a 3rd time, I don't really care much about the SECT this year. I would prefer we play well, obviously, but I just want to get to the NCAA Tournament healthy and playing good ball.
Last year I really cared about it because I wanted to sweep the titles. This year, to me, it just kind of feels more like a "whatever". And that feels weird because generally we HAVE to win 1-2 games there to get into the tournament

I’ll be in Tampa so I’d prefer us to not look like trash if at all possible. Winning Thursday and Friday would be a nice bump for the trip

Embrace tGoat method I have been pushing every year, get to the semis and gtfo
It honestly feels so meh to be playing Sunday since it doesn't mean much for seeding, especially if you lose
