Alabama Women's Basketball Falls to Tulane, 69-66

Alabama made the game-tying shot at the buzzer but it was ruled that the shot did not get off in time.

I have some bad news, fellas. But I have a feeling that we might not go undefeated this season.

Kind of sad that none of our beat writers (get well soon, Cecil) can give us an update on Gary yet. I'm guessing we will hear something from Nate tomorrow.

Casagrande is too busy tweeting about the Western Kentucky game from last year to actually do his job

Oats is a genius. We will win some of those games. If our defense shows up, we will be in all of them.

Just what everyone was hoping for... The spurs fans are salivating to pull him up to the big league sometime in late Jan. and hope it translates. I bet you he averages 25-30 pts a game in the G league. So smooth.

Matched up with Murray, Vassel, and Johnson in the backcourt, the Spurs could really turn it around!

Just got tickets for Friday night - pretty stoked for my first full weekend trip to Tuscaloosa since pre-COVID.

Call me optimistic, but that sounds like pretty good news.

Means he didn’t have surgery on it. And if that’s the case then it can’t be too serious whatever it is

I feel pretty good about our chances in the Gonzaga game. Especially if Gary is back healthy.

I also hope we get to see Gary guard Timme. Gary is likely stonger, tougher, and can out jump Timme. I think he can give Timme lots of trouble inside and out. I don't know if we can win that game, but it will be lots of fun. Nothing for us to lose, and lots to win.

Drew Timme has excellent footwork in the paint and he reminds me of a guy who use to play with Saint Mary's or BYU...Omar Samhan...I think that's his name. They are very similar with their footwork around the basket. I think the problem for Gonzaga could come from Alex Tchikou. It will all depend on how good can he be when we play them because if he is able to bring both big guys away from the basket then it will be a long night for Gonzaga.

In the ball screen landscape, @AlabamaMBB has really separated, themselves with a very high volume of side pnr from the wings. Also, track @UCLAMBB who is coming off one of the best side pnr seasons in the past decade. #CBB
