Those numbers will normalize a bit when we inevitably go 3-24 in Memorial.

Ellis is also gone unless he can use his COVID year, but I doubt he does even if he can. Tchikou is almost definitely hitting the portal after getting like 8 minutes all season. Wouldn't be surprised to see KAH go either

For whatever the reason, I expect the following to leave:
Q
Shack
Keon
Gurley
Rojas
KAH
Alex

Wild cards:
JD-think he should come back, but if he blows up in the SECT and NCAAT, he's gone. His recent improvements lend me to believe he will have strong tournament play.

A few games ago, I thought Miles might be gone after the year, but now I think he stays. Same with Holt.

I think with the forwards we have coming in and his recent struggles, Gary will transfer out too.

Providence in the tournament. No thanks. Too many bad memories there.

JQ needs to go regardless of stock, he turns 24 this year. If he wants any realistic shot, now is the time.

Sam Vecenie, who is a good draft guy to follow, put out a new mock this morning with JD and Ellis going in the 2nd. Ellis can use his Covid year but based on this mock, he needs to go. JD should come back if he's a projected 2nd round pick, he could be a lottery pick next year if he improves that shot a bit. Bediako will be back and may be a 1st rounder next year.

Unless Gurley wants to get an early start playing in Greece, he may as well use his Covid year and play one more year of meaningful basketball.

Rojas is gone. Tchikou is gone. KAH is most likely gone, I don't see him starting at Alabama.

Miles is tough. He's flashed enough to garner serious minutes next year but will he start? He may want to start at a worse school instead of just 6th man minutes his last two years here. I wouldn't blame him honestly.

Shack is in an interesting spot. He almost left last year but has he improved his stock? Don't think so. Do you transfer closer to home? Stay one more year? Declare and play in the G-League? He should run it back next year but have a feeling he's gone regardless.

Ala moved from "Most Likely In" to "LOCKS" on the ESPN Bubble page update today.

Did you have to post this and trigger my ptsd, just when I was believing again? Damn you.

On the game last night. I'm not going to complain about any win at this point in the season. I thought Oats made a great point that the team keeps finding new ways to win when their shots aren't falling. If we get this JQ for the rest of the year, we're going to become a dangerous team, just hope he turned the corner. Bediako is going to be a nightmare to play against next year, he's developed so much since November, a full off-season is going to be great for him.

Ellis has by far been the most disappointing player to me this year. This dude was primed for an All-SEC season, being the best two-way player in the league and the light just hasn't come on for whatever reason. I don't think anyone has a true answer why, maybe we just overhyped him, but at this point I'm just hoping he can salvage that 2nd round grade.

If Florida doesn't get in I think Mike White has to be gone. The next two games they have Auburn and Arkansas at home, really need to go 1-1 there. Then on the road against Georgia and Vandy, need to be 2-0. Close at home against Kentucky.

That's rough.

B2B season where we don’t have to constantly look at Last 4 in and First 4 out.

Feels good

So Auburn is a lock for the Final 4 if this was how it actually plays out. I mean the scheduling gods were in their favor all year, why not the actual tourney?

With that draw we could get to Sweet 16. With this group I would gladly take another Sweet 16

Yeah I think winning the SEC in year 2 under Oats probably fricked up a lot of our perceptions. The fact that we are a tournament lock on February 17th in year 3 under this staff is a great sign, irrespective of anything that happened last year. Even moreso when you account for the elite recruiting class we have coming in.

Yep - first back to back tournaments since 04/05 and 05/06, and the first back to back tournaments as top 6/7 level seeds (assuming we finish ok) since the early 90s.
