ESPN's Joe Lunardi released his latest "Bracketology" this morning.

Alabama is a 6-seed and matched up with 11-seed Miami.

The Crimson Tide beat Miami by 32 in November.

Bediako on off-season potential weight-gain:

Right now, in this season, I'm just trying to maintain my weight. In the offseason, I will definitely have time to eat more.

Oats says Darius Miles will make the road trip to Oxford with the team tomorrow.

Miles had a leg injury, followed by a suspension last game.

C’mon Nate. Don’t try to polish a dog turd.

Not sure what else we need to measure an offense when we shoot 3-30 from 3PT. It’s been dreadful all year.

Oats:

"It's not overly complicated. Free-throws are the most efficient shot in the game. The next most is at the rim. The next most is kick-out threes; if you can shoot close to 40% on open threes. If you're shooting 38% on a mid-range shot, you're gonna lose 99% of your games.

3PT shooting has been dreadful all year, but even with that we are still the 16th most efficient offense in the country per KenPom. I think that was his point. The offense isn’t the problem as much as shot making is. Start making some of the shots that we should be making and we are easily a top ten offense.

Bigger problem is still defense though.

Per Byrne, alcohol sales are coming to basketball games and other athletic events.

We desperately need it.

It was fine until SEC play started. I guess technically the wheels started falling off in the Memphis game, but close enough to the start of SEC play.

I'd be curious to know what % UK, Auburn and some of the other top teams are shooting on mid range shots to see how accurate this is.

Pretty good if it wasn't for the 8 game win streak honestly, feels like we are sort of due for a regression at some point. Played bad enough to lose this past Saturday so maybe we got that out of the way.

Auburn isn't a great defensive rebounding team, feel like some 2nd chance points for us in that area could be the difference in the game. They also foul alot so got to make your fts.

Do y’all think Nate needs to add a shooting coach to the staff this offseason.

Pelicans have one and Herb is like 40% from 3 this year. And shooting like 85% from the FT line

Yeah me too. UK especially seems to shoot a ton of mid range shots
